Getting my Leo Statue Tomorrow!!!!!!!!

I wasn't sure where to post this so I put it here as the statue is of the Mirage TMNT.

I just got a phone call from the guy at my local comic store saying that my Leonardo statue arrived yesterday. I can't wait to go home tomorrow and pick it up!!!!!! He says that it's one of the best statues that he has ever seen.

I should have it in less than 20 hours!!!!!!! I'll put up a review sometime tomorrow evening (UK time) to tell you what I think. I'll be able to do a few box scans (may have to email those to someone who knows how to put them up) but I won't be able to put photos up until I get them developed.

That would be cool to own, But im not sure how reliable international shipping would be, not to mention expensive.

Yeah, i don't know the cost yet (forgot to ask, though he estiamted about £90 when I first asked last year). I asked back when it was first announced but he hadn't mentioned it since so I figured that he'd been unable to find a way to get it imported with diamond shipping to US only.

If you've got a local comic shop try asking there as they can often get items that aren't meant to ship outside the US (that way you don't have to worry about the shipping being unreliable). Even though the first wave is sold out Entertainment Earth have a second wave listed as shipping in May so there is still time to get one. You could also try things like collector fairs as these often have rare/limited items though they may cost a bit more.

I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!

It looks a million times better in reality than it did on the net, the guy at my comic shop was right, it is the best looking statue I have ever seen.

There's not much else that can be said as you have all seen the pictures, however i thought it was good the way the bottom of the katana unscrews so you can remove it from Leo's hands (it is actually packaged seperatley). The sketch and autograph by Peter Laird under the base is also a great touch.

Does anyone know where it says what number it is? I know only 2222 made but i can't find number to say which mine is.

If anyone wants scans of the box (or Laird's autograph from the bottom of the base) PM me and i should be able to email them to you tomorrow (I'm gonna see Daredevil tonight). I would post the scans (when they're done) here but i don't know how.
