What would the turtles ever do if they ever caught Shredder and his henchmen? I am pretty sure they wouldn't kill'em, but they couldn't let them go on endangering everybody with there conquest of world domination!

That would be the freakiest plot twist of all time. That these seemingly sweet, pizza loving turtles who shout out surfer lingo were really in it just to have a meal of warthog, rhinoceros, alien brain, and evil ninja master.:o

When i think about it, i can rember a season 8 episode they attacked Shredder and his hench mutants and tied'em up for the police. But they may have been in a rush and didn't have much time to decide there destiny.

well my thougt´s would be that they would destroy the technodrome and leave them to the police or then send them all with the technodrome to some alternate dimension like dimension X and put a time bomb on the dimensional portal so when they would arrive in dimension x it would explode and they couldnt return (or it would take a long time befoore they could)

but in the original comics they probably would kill them :P

another option that i would prefeer was that they would destroy the technodrome while shredder and krang would still be inside, then they wouldn´t know if they were dead for sure (like in the TMNT 2 game)

OT: Put them in an easily escapable situation. The shredder wouldn't harm a fly anyway

Mirage- don't even want to think about it.

OT- pack him in a Dr. Doom style cage and notify the authorities anonymously and let them deal with him. Either that, or send him to a lonely asteroid in Dimension X.

Archie- even likelier to have Shredder sent to Dimension X. He is too likely to escape a desert island- so Dimension X seems like the best option.

Movies- have the police deal with him.

NT- they did with Ch'rell. But if Karai ever turns completely and totally evil, I would not be surprised if they called the Utroms for advice regarding what to do with her.

The Turtles of the source material would knock him off a roof and blow up a grenade next to him, and failing that, send Leonardo to chop his head off and burn his remains over the Hudson.

The cartoons? I don't know, send him flowers or make quips or something.

Many good suggestions here! I thought about a escape disabled cage or something, in case the authorities couldn't hold'em back. But they most likely wouldn't stand there nagging so i avoided to bring it up. And when i think about it, the authorities would most likely put Krang, Rocksteady and Bebop to science research and Shredder in a mental institution.

It depends on which version. In the 1987 cartoon, the TMNT didn't wanted to kill or anybody from Earth. So they would probably leave him to the police.

In the movie verse, what do you think the Turtles would do? They're not hard core like the Mirage, but they are not sticky sweet like the cartoons either.

2 - call chief sterns

Hmmm... kill him? I dunno. I mean even though the first movie was darker.... the turtles were still way too childish and too inversed in their pizza addiction and 'who says the coolest slang term' contests to do such a thing. Even if tough-guy Raphael killed Shredder, he's most likely be crying about the whole 'I took a life' thing later. Now if Shredder actually killed Splinter and April.... who knows..?


As for the newer TMNT movie.. kill him, most definitely.

Shredder kidnapped and tried to kill Splinter. And they tried to kill him on the roof. When they couldn't splinter himself tried to kill him by letting him fall.

which version is most likely to kill in combat and which is most likely to kill execution style?

Execution style- Mirage is the only one where I can imagine this happen.

Combat- either the NT or Archie or perhaps one of the movies, but the Turtles would have horrendous guilt and remorse afterwards.

I dunno... the TMNT are too silly in the first movie.... I mean despite the fact that they were fighting the Foot to rescue Splinter, and they were face to face with their leader... they still saw it fit to throw around 'nyuk nyuk' jokes...

I just can't see the TMNT go all 'YOU KILLED SPLINTER!! DIE MUTHA******!!!", kill Shredder... and then go right back to 'Awesome!!!' 'Excellent!!' 'Bodacious!!' 'Bosanova!!' "....Bosanova..?" "Uh.... Chevynova?" "COWABUNGA!!"
