2008 is going to be a good year for Nike Dunk SB lineup. Theres going to be a lot of 80s related themes such as the Ferris Buller edition Dunk among others. To go along with the other hot SBs coming our way we have a preview here of a Nike Dunk which appears to be inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. The colorway includes a combo of charcoal, green and a tad bit of purple. No pictures have come up of the insoles of these sneakers, nor has Nike SB officially said these are related to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You cant deny though that the colors are an obvious match and with Nike SB paying respect to the 80s babies it appears these go with the popular cartoon at the time, TMNT.

I am a pretty big Sneakerhead and I would bet that those Air Max 90s (The ones Bigfoot posted) are a custom job and aren't actually produced for retail. I could be wrong though and they sure are tight lookin'.

You are right Raph, they are custom shoes made by King Kelly. A well known shoe customizer in Canada. You can actually get them made to your specifications, like size 12 Leonardo's, but it is very expensive. For more info here is a link to more pics, and contact info for Kelly himself.

I am a tmnt fan, but damn I hate the way those look.

The lace accessories on the customs make 'em look like those goofy slippers with the plush heads from way back when. Plus, the green on them is overpowering.

They are cool looking. But I would have had a patch on the front of the Turtle's head instead of the plastic head.

I agree but Let's keep in mind these are probably not being marketed to older people. Kids pry think that head is awesome.

Im sure it wouldn't be to difficult to remove that little head anyway. If I had these shoes I would just take that head off.
