the entire series of comics?

hey everyone, i just got into the comic part of tmnt, and have a few questions. so many different volumes and spin offs i cant seem to pik a place to start. i collected the original mirage vol 1 i suppose. 1-61 i believe? have recheck. but i have a full color one that says #1 vol 2. so how many are in volume 2? i know archie has issues... how many our in them? is there a vol 3 n vol4? and if so is that all the issues? and after my first set i have where do i start first? i must also add, from watching just the cartoons, these comics are badass. a whole new light is shined on them for me. But i still feel i dont them personally, like their always just fighting on missions. but im only on issue 11 lol.

That lists every issue of every major volume of TMNT comics, from Mirage to Archie to Image. It should answer all your queries.

I just got into the comics too. I've been reading quite a bit of Mirage Vol. 1 and the new Tales series. I'm reading vol. 4 online now, and now I'm thinking of tracking down the Archie comics. Are there any Archie stories that people remember as being particularly good? As far as Archie comics currently in my collection, I have 1 and 2 of the mini-series that adapts season 1 of the cartoon, I have the first four issues of the regular series, and I have a TPB that consists of the first few original Archie stories.

Dreadging the Ocean Blue, Future Shark saga (Future Tense, Past Lives, and Here Today, Gone Tomarrow), Midnight Son trillogy, Turning Japanese, 1492, Search for Charlie Llama, Mutations, Black Hole Trillogy, The Animus War (1 and 2), Terracide Trillogy, Blind Sight (1 and 2), Once again and Always, Dreamland Saga (aka Cyber Samurai Turtles), Moon Eyes Saga.

And come 2009 the Archie series will continue with Forever War! :D
