Looky! It's Casey and Fugitoid (drinking beer! ) and some Utroms (one of which is smoking) and various other aliens.. and a cover price of $10. I bet those Utroms are drinking Cranberry Juice (which effects em like alcahol). Boy Im glad I can get that on wowio...

Well, it depends on how big the comic is. If it's $10 worth of pages, then I'll be super-happy. I'll be getting them on Wowio and in print either way, though.

Ah, and cool cover too. ;) I can't wait to read it.

Ya, I guess I might as well too...but it's really not the same. Reading a comic online is just lame compared to actually owning it. Hopefully they start dishing out some big $10 worth issues.

But you do own it if you download it from online. They even put your name on one of the front pages so if you send out copies all across the internet, they'll know whose account to ban. ;)

Yeah that's true. I feel that buying comics online messes up the tradition of actually going to the comic book shop and buying it yourself. I like mine paper-real :P But wow, 10 bucks for the upcoming issue. I'm willing to cough up some cash up for it, i haven't read a vol. 4 issue in a while and I hope its worth the buy.

Has it been said how many pages the issue is? $10 for a 30 page comic is definitely not something I'll do.

I have hope that it will be a good size. $10 worth..we'll have to see, but the a lot of ninja turtle comics hit even the 50 page mark.

Steve says that only 100 issues will be released for $10 and that they'll be autographed by Peter Laird. Otherwise you have no choice but to download it off Wowio. But they still will probably also put it on ninjaturtles.com for those not able to get Wowio.

As excited as I am that this is finally being released, I think I will only read it through Wowio.

And Casey ages very very well. I wonder what is the secret to his youthfulness. Somehow I do not think he is a health nut.

Wow, Casey has a nose! Either Lawson put more care into the cover, or Dooney was thoughtful enough to give Casey a face.

Either way, it looks nice and is pretty cool. I still think Mirage should switch to a print-on-demand model, by putting the heads-up on their website of how much X amount of books will cost to print, take X amount of orders for said books, and print 'em! Surely the order would be filled from the comic shops that carry the title and by us fans who order direct.

Anyway, long live the TMNT, and may I be 50 before the price jumps to $20 bucks a book.

Finally!!!! Being unable to see em online or buy the issue myself, someone better give me a detailed play-by-play whenever they get/download that issue . :)

The cover, at the very least, looks a lot better than the B+W Lawson-only preview at the end of 28.

Any bets on what the story will encompass?

I'm psyched. I've been re-reading the entire Vol. 4 on Wowio. I'm fully wrapped up in the story. I'm dying for an on-going TMNT series. Individual stand alone tales just don't cut it for me.

Dooney always makes everything look good, I wish he'd draw comics but he's to busy designing toys.

Edit: never mind then, I guess I'll have to go after one of those 100 issues.

It seems the issue is only 40 pages afterall, but if I understood the site correctly, it looks like Pete is actually drawing a huge turtle head on the inside cover of each of the first 100 issues and signing it. In other words, it's not just a drawing that they copied 99 times and Pete just signed them all.

So if you really want one, you'd better sign up quick because I'm sure the first 100 issues will disappear fast.

Aye. There's a pic on ninjaturtles.com of Pete signing one of the books. Foreigners can order it as well. It's been uploaded on Wowio, which means it'll be available for download by Wednesday (Wowio uploads new stuff Wed - Sat)!!! They'll also be posting the issue on ninjaturtles.com next week!!! :o
