TMNT DVD's
 

Well, I haven't been up to date with TMNT for months and I see that they released a Season 1, and Season 4 DVD box set. Was wondering if they will be releasing Season 2, 3, and 5 and 6?

Also, for the ones that are out now, are they in order this time?

They are in order, and season 2 just started coming out.
None of the sets have special features like the old releases did.
Also you should know the season sets are split up into 2 sets with 2 dvd's for each release.
Like Season 1 pt.1 & Season 1 p.2 for example.

They're currently working on season 5 (The Lost Season) and season 2 part 2. And season 6 (commonly known as Fast Forward) is already out.

Isn't Season 5 already out though? I seen it at amazon, the ninja tribunal one?

Likely will continue on (for Seasons 3 and 4). Season 5 (aka. The Lost Season/Ninja Tribunal) is already planned for DVD, and Fast Forward (aka. Season 6) is out already in the newer 2-Disc DVDs routine.

It's an Australian release, probably not a region one dvd. The USA version comes out May 20th.

Right on the DVD is still to come, but wwfwwe is kinda right too (since the US Ninja Tribunal DVD is listed on Amazon).

Plus, it's been confirmed that the Season 4 compilation currently available will be replaced in the near future since it is both slightly out of order and not properly titled in as much as it's only the later half(ish) of the season.

I wish you could call it near future...

It'll be less than two years at the current rate of things. Maybe "the foreseeable future" would have been more appropriate. :ohwell:

Oh, shoot! I didn't even notice...so now I'll have to buy the season again when it's released.

Oh well.

As long as the eps are glitch free and in order...and get released a little faster than they have been, I'll be fine.

The new half season dvd sets ARE glitch free, right?

I think that glitch during Return to New York part 2 was still there on mine. Other than that, haven't had any problems.

so the single dvds have special features but the half season releases don't? what sort of special features?

Mainly-- Interview pieces, and Character Profiles.

* Though, that only lasts through the Battle Nexus DVD (as I recall). Then there are a few TMNT Shorts on the 'Season 4' 2-Disc DVD.
