aHow about a dtv anime style based on vol 1 ?

Would anyone like to see a straight adaptation of vol 1 mirage comic using
anime like in Batman Gotham Knight ?

If it's close to the same quality of animation as Batman Gotham Knight, then absolutely. If it's around the same quality of animation as Yu-gi-oh or Pokemon, then absolutely not.

That's if they can find any Japanese directors who give a **** about TMNT enough to donate their time and effort into working on a short. From the looks of things currently, the Japanese don't give two damns about the Ninja Turtles.

But yes, so long as they stayed as far away from Super Mutations and Metal Mutants, I would like an Animatrix/Gotham Knight style straight-to-video release.

ive actually always wanted a cable tmnt series based on the original books in the same vein as the old HBO Spawn cartoon. THAT would be awesome.

Shinichirō Watanabe would make a great TMNT series, and Steven Jay Blum would be Leo!

Shell out enough money, and Japanese directors can feign interest.

Would have been nice to have released TMNT in theaters in Japan, but we all know the Japanese don't care about animated ninjas and monsters.

Yup...I'd love something like this.
