TMNT aren't the same without pizza..
 

There's more to waht i'm saying in a thread on a different forum, but really what i'm trying to get it is, does pizza taste the same, knowing that the tmnt don't care that much about it anymore?

I will agree, completely nixing the pizza schtick is a bad one IMHO. *sigh* Well hopefully its just a temporary phase, as TMNT without pizza isnt very Turtley. I am grateful they arent saying stupid 'of the times' lingo like "Hella Sick!", "Hella kickin' it with my peeps days ago, late!", "dont go there", and "Hella tight!", "Hella pimp, etc.

I think they will bring it in on occasion...but its kinda refreshing to not have it be over-kill. If you look at the "updates" on the offical site there is a pizza box and a slice in the monitor room. nice touch....

And yes Pizza does taste the same

I was using it more as a metaphorical thingy majober. Like it just isn't the same without tmnt obsessing over it. I miss the obsession, I thought that was refreshing to know that I can be obsessed with them and they are obsessed with pizza :)

The turtles will always go hand and hand with pizza in peoples minds. It's something you can't get rid of at this point.

I agree with Shadow on this, Paul. Pizza never had the Mmm--Mmm-Turtle goodness for me. And even if it did, I can't taste the difference as I down a slice of a deep dish Pizza Hut Pizza.

Although, Pizza Hut does have better pizza than most places....Maybe that's the Ninja and Turtle goodness you're seeking for?

EDIT: So, what you're saying is that the Turtles are Pizza Junkies jonsin' for a fix of the Meatlover special, or a Chronic Deep dish action? Maybe Splinter should have an intervention.

ok, this thread is just weird.....

Remember the interview with Peter Laird, pizza will be in the new show but not nearly as much as in the old one.

By the way anyone remember the Pizza Hut comercial that came on before the first TMNT movie on the VHS, the one with the kid playing baseball with that song in the background.

All I know is some sort of pizza presence needs to take place, as TMNT without pizza is just...well it just aint right.

There is nothing wrong If they eat Pizza, I think only Raphael hated Pizza in Mirage. After all, it is a popular food among teenagers, and easily delivered. But it will be bad if they go over board with it like in the old toon. Mikey's every other line had something to do with Pizza. Well I really doubt theyl go that far.

If they decided to dop the pizza completely, I would be ok with it, The pizza is not something that is have to be present in TMNT universe.

the original mirage comics they weren't pizza crazy, they did eat it but it wasn't nuts. the first issues had no pizza so i imagine the first episodes will be the same. the old toon went waaaaayy too far with the pizza thing and i'm sure the new toon will have it just not as much.

If you haven't noticed, the first episode isn't based off the first issue... I think it's not just mirage but a mix of the movie and everything. When I said pizza not tasting the same I didn't mean physically i meant mentally.

:D Every time I watch the movie, I have to watch that ad. :tpizza:
