TMNT Joins Rare Saturday Morning Feat
Today marks the first time that TMNT was seen on two different stations this Saturday morning. In Dallas, it's Channels 27 & 33.
There have been two other characters that have had Saturday morning series on two networks. 1977 BATMAN: Superfriends (ABC) & Tarzan-Batman Hour (CBS) 1978 YOGI BEAR: Laff-A-Lympics (ABC) & Yogi's Space Race/Galaxy Goof-Ups (NBC) |
What about The Batman and JLU?

Yeah I watched it on the two channels in my area today at 9-10 am on 4kids then again at 10:30 on CW I think it was. Good too see them getting extra play.
The are still doing best of on 4Kids but it looks like they are starting FF on the CW with Eppy #1 |
This is pretty cool...but for me only the CW was on today...4kidstv is on tomorrow (same channel).

Hd it not been the first episode for the 30th time, it would have been a lot more special.
BTW, what about the times that Looney Tunes shorts were segregated into different groups, and aired on opposite channels? That was amazing. Too bad it was before my time, though. |
...If I recall correctly, TMNT aired on CN's 6AM Saturday morning slot for quite some time, so THAT was when it joined this whole "rare feat" thing....
Edit: Wait, do you mean as in Fast Forward counting as a different series? Well, I guess you're right then... |
As for airing on different channels on saturdays...
I just remembered, at one point, the OT ran on both CBS saturday morning, plus the USA cartoon express' Saturday block. Also, 2k3 used to be shown on Cartoon Network and 4kidstv on Saturday. In fact, "Mission of Gravity" premiered on the same day on both channels. |
