Filesize comparison of the old episodes
 

Today I completed my collection of the 193 old TMNT episodes, or atleast I thought so. I decided to compare each and every episode's filesize with the one given at www.radixpub.com/tmntfiles/mikesepisodeguide.php, to be sure I'd downloaded the right versions.

The episodes listed below didn't match the filesizes. The first filesize given is the actual filesize and the second is what it should be according to the episode guide I mentioned above.

TMNT - 063 - 03.45 - The Big Rip Off.avi (73,146 kB/73,336 kB)
TMNT - 086 - 04.21 - Were-Rats From Channel 6.avi (55,202 kB/59,120 kB)
TMNT - 087 - 04.22 - Funny, They Shrunk Michelangelo.avi (54,986 kB/58,970 kB)
TMNT - 107 - 05.02 - Once Upon A Time Machine.avi (61,014 kB/58,308 kB)
TMNT - 112 - 05.07 - Michaelangelo Meets Bugman Again.avi (60,348 kB/57,642 kB)
TMNT - 113 - 05.08 - Muckman Messes Up.avi (62,160 kB/59,456 kB)
TMNT - 115 - 05.10 - Raphael Versus The Volcano.avi (61,552 kB/58,844 kB)

Truncated?
No, I checked them all with the DivX analyser GSpot to be sure none of them were actually truncated with for example DivFix, which makes it possible to view uncomplete DivX files.

Then what?
If none of them was truncated, then the only possibilities left would be either that they're simply different versions than the ones listed in the episode guide, or the filesizes in the episode guide could be wrong. Regarding the first wrong-size episode, TMNT - 033 - 03.15 - Take Me To Your Leader.avi, the most logical explanation is probably an error in the episode guide, since the filesize only differs by one single number.

Who encoded these by the way?
Only two of the wrong-sized episodes, "Take Me To Your Leader" and "Planet Of The Turtleoids Part II" contains aneurysm's encoded by-screen. The other ones don't have any "encoded by" information at all.

Actions?
If you have these episodes, please let me know if you have the correct ones. I would also like to see the administrators of #tmnt-files' episode guide make sure it doesn't has any errors in it.

TMNT - 162 - 07.19 - Night Of The Rogues.avi (56,964 kB/39,216 kB)
^this was one of the rm conversions to divx, but the file you have is the divx version, the one i have too...we replaced it for a true divx version long time ago but since that episode guide are reeeeeeeally outdated then it has that kinda info still there.
As for the other episodes, well they're only 1 or 2 mb in difference, and you mentioned they didnt have any "encoded by.." screens, so i'm guessing that's why your episodes have different filesizes, they're missing that screen...i wouldnt recommend you to replace them tho, i mean if you really want then i could send em to you but i don't see the point of downloading the eps all over again just to have that screen :)
As for the "actions"...the site is not up to my, it's radixvir's site, you could mail him and tell him about this, but since the only part of the guide that should be changed is the night of the rogues part i also think it's not worth it.
It remains a mystery why "Take Me To Your Leader" and "Planet Of The Turtleoids Part II" are different in filesize tho :) the file of either you or the guide creator was modified i guess...but as long as it's watchable, who cares? ;)

However, I've now found four more versions of his episodes (italic). The other day, there was a guy who seemed to have them all in the channel. His name was edlee61. But I don't know if I'll change every episode just yet. Those left to replace are all larger than Aneurysm's versions and probably in better quality.
