do the ninja turtles

take a shower?

Ninjinister 08-21-2008 05:06 PM

They not only take a shower, but have taken many, many showers in their lives.

A little *too* Raph 08-21-2008 05:09 PM

how else do you expect them to get the ladies?

KROW 08-21-2008 05:22 PM

I can't recall what issue it was (I think it was Volume 1, Number 12), but in it there was a panel of one of the turtles (Raphael, I think) getting out of the shower and complaining that Donatello didn't fix the water heater yet in April's old farmhouse. So, with that in mind, yes they take showers.

And they make sure to wash their tails so they can go to the bathroom without risk of infection.

It's the Donatello one shot, actually...

That scene was also in that Kirby's episode in 2K3 Season One.

Ah. I don't read the comics or watch the new show as often as some of the more dedicated members on here do. Thanks for those, guys. :)

Are you saying you're better than us, because you have...

The Kirby episode is based on the Donatello one shot...but there was also a Random House children's book back in the old days of TMNT that had the story:

That's where I first read it. :P

How old is that book?

Well...that's not mine. I tracked the cover down on Google, but I had it when I was a young Turtle fan, so probably 20 years.

SHREDDER-X 08-21-2008 05:59 PM

In Book 2 of the graphic novels, it shows Rapheal coming out of the shower after a battle with the Foot ( Right before April comes home and shows off her new hairdo).

I have it!

I had to enter into nerd mode too :D

There was also a 2K3 reference to them showering in the episode "The Lesson" where the TMNT were kids teaching Casey to fight when he was being bullied. When Splinter was looking for Raph he was in the "shower" but actually he was topside.
Cute!

This is the only one that managed to stay on topic and wasn't either a versus thread or a thread that had been covered countless times before, so it can stay for now.

superturtle 08-21-2008 08:24 PM

okay SORRY just dont delete my post but this is the end of the topic dont lock it an dont answer it either

Krang 08-21-2008 08:30 PM

No, it's not. People can continue posting in this thread if they want to. And if you don't want your posts to be deleted, put a little thought into them instead of posting nonsense.

superturtle 08-21-2008 08:35 PM

i just hope they dont curse at me hey krang how come u dont curse at people ur the who runs this forum u cud do it anytime u wont:lol:

Krang 08-21-2008 08:36 PM

Because I don't want to. And that's not a good example of putting thought into your posts.
