Yeah, this has been brought up before (including the likely reason why, by yours truly).

Along with "Planet of the Turtloids" 2-Parter, "Once Upon a Time Machine" also got 'skipped'.

gobo 09-26-2008 10:32 AM

What was your likely reason? I don't recall.

"ONCE UPON A TIME MACHINE" is also missing, PizzaPower. Though that one should have been on the Season 4 set.

CyberCubed 09-26-2008 10:37 AM

How can Lionsgate be skipping episodes though? Don't all older episodes get kept in some vault somewhere?

I think people need to continue e-mailing them about it, even if they don't respond.

The company seeming to switch episode listings (as the set-up of Vol. 1 to Season 4 followed the way ninjaturtles.com listed the episodes, then Seasons 5 and 6 went to a set-up like TV.com's listing; with the skipped episodes being under Season 5 at ninjaturtles.com, but under Season 4 at TV.com).

And yes, noted that ep. for PizzaPower's question too.

gobo 09-26-2008 10:40 AM

Oh, right. >_< I always thought that was only the explanation for the two-parter though...

PizzaPower 09-26-2008 10:40 AM

well its kinda gay, actually its not kinda, it is. Lucky i have these 3 episodes on tape, but still.

Nope. Infact if "Turtles and the Hare" hadn't been put on the Season 4 DVD, likely it would also be 'missing' (as that ep. has the same scenario of Season difference between those sites).

PizzaPower 09-26-2008 12:02 PM

yea i notice that "Turtles and the Hare" was on Season 4, and i was like wheres the other one with the rabbit. Hopefully they dont skip anymore, or maybe "Planet of The Turtleoids" will be a straight to DVD movie kinda??

Yeah, "Once Upon a Time Machine" is that (other one with the rabbit). And also hope the missing episodes get put on DVD some time at least.

Don't think any more will be (skipped). As other than those 4 mentioned, think the two guides noted about are pretty much similar (at the least in the episodes being in the same Seasons, even if not in the same order).

PizzaPower 09-26-2008 12:29 PM

yea hopefully they dont. "Once Upon a Time Machine" is when the TMNt meet there older selfs, it was a fun episode as well.

CyberCubed 09-26-2008 01:54 PM

Is it possible the Season 7 DVD could have these episodes as a bonus?

I'd rather the eps be on DVD out of order than not have them at all...

There was some talk (wondering about this) before too.

As noted then, Season 7 (as a whole) is rather large to compensate those episodes. But, with the info about the other Seasons likely being done seperately, could have them with any of those (as Seasons 8 to 10 are just 8-episodes each).

Well, they'll be splitting Red Sky into 3 DVD's of 8 episodes... mabey they'll put one lost episode on every Red Sky disc.

Yeah, that's what I was meaning (since there had been talk of Seasons 8 to 10 likely being released seperately).

Luke795 09-26-2008 11:04 PM

I don't know if the 13 European Vacation episodes will even be released on the Season 7 dvd set because they don't really go with the Season 7 episodes they really go with the Season 4 episodes along with Once Upon A Time Machine and the Planet of the Turtleoids two part episode goes with the Season 5 episodes because I believe the turtles say that the technodrome is frozen in ice, but when you see the technodrome it doesn't look like it's by snow it looks like it's by some where red.

Do you think Lionsgate would put that much thought into it? They configure eps on the discs solely based on how they are listed on publicly available episode guides for pete's sake...

PizzaPower 09-27-2008 09:06 AM

hopefully we get some better dvds. Hopefully.
