Black Super Shredder question
So, I'm thinking of making my own Black Super Shredder as opposed to spending $50 for one..does anybody have this figure?
I am wondering if the black paint is shiny and glossy or a flat tone. Thx |
I don't have it on me at the moment, but I'm pretty sure it's just plain and flat.
|
There is no black paint. The figure was molded with black plastic.
|
Is that so? I never took a good enough look at my own figure to tell...
|
ah interesting. thanks.
so it's totally unpainted black plastic- with no highlihts or anything like that? makes sense as an anti-bootleg measure, i guess |
Rose is correct. The plastic however is pretty glossy :-)
|
his blades were casted in a darker plastic than the original Super Shredder. I guess it was to make them look more like actual metal. Playmates also used the darker blades for their later re-releases of the regular Super Shredder.
