Halfcourt repaint

I simply painted the parts on halfcourt that playmates was too lazy to paint.

I also took a similar approach for Sandstorm.

nice repaints.. seems like Playmates got more lazy about painting the details as time went on...

They were always lazy about painting details. Look at Tragg.

EDIT: Btw, great customs, as always, tmntfan.

I guess I should ask ya what paint you use.

I wish I had one... let alone one to paint.

I wouldn't mind getting a Sandstorm one day. Halfcourt, on the other hand, I've never liked, though tmntfan makes him so mush better.

I have a sandstorm... were those hard to find to ? I got him in a big lot of stuff.

for all my customs i usually use acrylic paint (tamiya brand to be exact), acrylic is the easiest to work with, fastest drying. or sometimes for certain colors i will use enamel (testors brand) and then go over it with a flat clearcote, cause enamel usually doesnt dry very well so you gotta coat it.

you can make any color appear shiny or flat, just using the appropriate clearcoat.

its literally a new and improved baskiraffe!

It's interesting how simple touch-ups on minor details can improve the presentation of the figure as a whole.
