TMNT 25th Anniversary figure question
 

What exactly is in the whole line? I mean like how many waves are there? What figures are included in the 25th anniversary line?

Well, there were supposed to be at least ten figures but an email mirage recently sent out suggest they reduced it to six after the packaging was completed.

Then how come at bigbadtoystore.com they said wave 1 would be 8 figures.

What? That's ludicrous. Leave it to Playmates to cut down the number of figures in every wave they produce. Crikey, that ticks me off... Wait, what was this e-mail? I'm signed up for both ninjaturtles.com and tmnt25.com and haven't gotten a thing.

Nice Move Playmates......... I mean how hard is it to release figures that were already made?

Not only that, but if they are only releasing six, why the hell would they list all ten on the back of the card?!

Well...looks like another year of me buying nothing "new" from Playmates...

I don't think they'd cancel a Shredder figure. He brings in the bills.

So does this mean everyone's going to get released eventually or well just see those 6, and nothing more? Absolutely stupid move... but considering that A) this is Playmates and Mirage and B ) the economy turned into s**t, I'm almost not surprised.

The further question is...which 6? Does this mean Casey, April, Bebop, Rocksteady, and Slash are toast leaving the 4 Turtles, Splinter, and Shredder or will they, as they have before, kill all the baddies and give us the Guys, Splinter, and April or Casey?

Hopefully the rest will come out at a later date, the 25th anniversary is all year after all.

Maybe they didn't want to "blow their load" all at once.

I dunno what's going on, but I got my 25th Anniversary Mikey and I'm happy.

Ya know, I don't give a damn if all of them are released or not. However, I give a damn when they picture toys on the package that will never be released. It makes me very angry just thinking about how long I looked for Metal Klaws. Back in the vintage days, this happened a few times, but every time it did, there was lik 50 figures on the card back so it was easy to forgive. These days though, there's not many on the card back. Heck, the 25th is the first one in ages to have 12 figures pictured and now it looks like 6 won't be released (Even if they are just reissues, that's half the line!)

EDIT: I know we aren't sure which, if any, are cut yet. That's just my guess which ones won't get released
