The Lord of the Rings! Yep, I am taking the huge task of turning a classic trilogy into a sprite comic! (I'm doing all three parts.)

First off, to show you the characters:

The Fellowship of the Ring -
From left to right:
Aragorn, Boromir, Pippin, Merry, Legolas, Sam, Gimli, Frodo, Gandalf

More characters to come up as the story progresses! (I'm in the middle of making the backgrounds, so bare with me. :) )

A Nazgul, an Orc, an Uruk-Hai and finally....Gollum!

:D

Hehe, fun :)

There is one thing, though (allow me to whine). Orcs in LotR were not green, the only colours mentioned are white (probably with a brownish touch)and black, if I'm not wrong.

Yes, I know that. :P But I had to make them a different color from the Uruk-Hai.

Those are awesome!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see more!!!!!!!!!

Wait no more, for now....

"You shall not pass! I am the Servant of the Sacred Fire, Weilder of the Flame of Anor...the Dark Fire will not avail you, Flame of Udun! Go back to the shadow....YOU SHALL NOT PASS!"

Those are some kick-ass sprites, dude. Most impressive!

Thanks. :) Took me awhile to do them though.

Nice!!! FF1 sprites I see... :D

Yep, I had to do it with them, as a tribute to 8-Bit Theater. :D

Very good work, dude! I'd love to see you make sprite versions of some TMNT posters.

Is this gonna be an online comic? or what?

either way, those are pretty awesome

Yes it will be, once I get around to doing it.
@Jep:I might be able to do that for ya. :)

These are great. I can't wait to see Legolas kicking ass in sprite form.

Cool!
Can't wait to see it in action!! :D
