SDCC 09 Attendance Thread!
 

SDCC 09 is creeping up on us...and I couldn't find an attendance thread started yet soooooooooooo here it is.

Let's hear it gang, who is going!?

Provided my industry application is accepted, I will be there the whole time :-)

"It's just San Diego." I still don't understand that one. Should looking up your geographic location explain it for me? Oh, and I'll be there Friday & Saturday. This is quite the expensive sonofa trip for me, so it'll probably be my first and last time... :ohwell:

All 4 days here with my son.

I'll be there only Friday... I lagged it and missed out on buying my badge for Saturday aswell

Sadly I'll only be there sunday as my boyfriend and I waited till the last minute and didn't realize tickets sold out so fast.
Does anyone know if they will sell tickets at the door?

Yes it would...as I am in southern california...and san diego is in....southern california.

No tix at the door, online only and it's sold out mostly, sunday's got a little bit left last i looked

See, now that I see so many of you guys are going, I wish I would have got tickets when my friends did.

I got their lil' magazine thing in the mail the other day. It seems neither of the 'exclusives' that I plan to pick up there (Neca April and G.I. Joe - The Complete [Sunbow] Series on DVD) are listed on the 'exclusives' page. 'Sup wit dat? O_o

Lovely looks like I'm gonna have to buy tickets from a scalper, because i know all the exclusives will be sold out by sunday.:ohwell:
Seriously I wish scalpers would all just drop dead, they buy up crap loads of tickets and toys and jack the prices up.:x

Does scalping work? It used to be you had to show your print out AND an ID that matches up with it to get your passes.

Well I guess i'm screwed all around then, I'm just gonna throw my arms up in the air and blame Mattel for this:lol:
I've never seen a convention sell out so fast before not even this one.

I've looked at Sunday too there's a few tckets left for Sunday that's really sucks that the 4 days passes have sold out I was going for the 4 days.


I'm going to miss seeing Raph that is going to break my heart

I'll be there all four days.

I've wanted to go to this con for years, and never went. Couldn't pass up the 25th Anniversary year to go.

(Plus there's bound to be Season II of Chuck and The Middleman stuff I won't be able to miss)
