Playmates Toys 1996 Catalog
 

Boy what's to be said about Playmates 1996 Catalog, not to much.
Not much was made this year and most of it was re-releases from years past.
Everything shown in this Catalog was released with the exception of the toy line for the 4th movie by TriMark Pictures that never got made anyway.
As well as 2 Ninja Power Re-release figures: Mutatin' Rahzar & Mutatin' April.

I guess "backing it all the way with a multi-million dollar promotional campaign and a massive mound of Mutant movie turtle toys" didn't quite go as far as it needed to.:lol:

Ah, nuts, I was hoping for images of the non-existent movie 4 figs. Ah well. Good stuff anyway.

I'd love to see that also but I honestly don't think they even exist, not even in concept art.

Imagine if we really did get a fourth movie back in 1996? As a kid I was always disappointed we never got one...until about 10 years later in 2007 with Kevin Munroe's flick. :lol:

Wow, I didn't know that they had a TMNT IV movie planned. Or at least planned enough to where they were advertising it. How far into production did they get? Did they even get a script or a treatment done?

I'm honestly not sure, that's a question to ask Peter Laird or Kevin Eastman.

yeah i'd have LOVED to have known what they were planning for a live action FOURTH movie!!!!:o:o
