There Is a Meaning To Life...

http://mutantooze.org/news/data/upim...-autograph.jpg

I was so stoked when I opened up the mailbox last night and seen that Mr. Laird took time out of his day to sign a print I sent him. This is probably one of my most treasured autographs now, right along with my George Carlin...

I am just so stoked I had to share my excitement with everyone here.

That's pretty awesome! How'd you get that print? When choosing what to have autographed, you can't choose much better than that.

I found the picture on the wonderful world wide web and I have a high quality photo printer at work so I just used my resources. It's not an official print by Mirage but to me it doesn't matter... Mr. Laird's autograph would mean just as much to me if it was written on a Snickers wrapper... :P

Ah, well it's still pretty cool. It looks especially nice in that frame. Now you just need to get one from Eastman with his original sketch. :)

Wow, when I forst looked at that I thought that was the original sketch. I was about to go crazy!

I wish... Maybe when I get home the original will be in my mailbox... And maybe a copy of the new live action movie... I think I am grasping at air now...

If Laird could give you that, then I don't think he'd have anything to do with the TMNT anymore. If you know what I mean...

Wow! :o

It's not signed original art from him, but still that's quite an accomplishment. Thanks for sharing! :)

I want a autograph of him too

I always thought the meaning of life was 42....

The Shelf 08-05-2009 11:00 AM

That's a common misconception, odu. 42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything; but it is not the meaning of life. It is, in fact, impossible to know both the ultimate answer and the ultimate question, so we will never actually know what 42 really means.

There's the story that the number was derived by adding up the number of pips on all sides of a pair of dice. (I'm assuming it's apocryphal.)

Actually, when you think about it, a more appropriate title would have been, "There IS a God!" Even if you're an atheist.
