Politcal Discussion

No flaming, no idiotic sarcastic posts that prove nothing, just a mature discussion. Where do you stand?

One Radical Dude 03-14-2003 02:14 PM

Right-winged GOP. Simple as that.

Donatello02 03-14-2003 02:18 PM

If people need to label me, then I guess I am an anti-American. And an anti-capitolist.

Tokka-B 03-14-2003 02:19 PM

Hmmm, well if you are referring to a United States government, I'd say mid to deep Left, not extreme though, extremists are dangerous in both.

Donatello02 03-14-2003 02:26 PM

Yeah I'm not an extremist, I just believe their should be change.

Wingnut 03-14-2003 02:36 PM

Agreed Donatello,we need ALOT of change in US goverment

That Matt Guy 03-14-2003 03:16 PM

I am more of a moderate. I agree with the left on some issues, and I agree with the right on others.

Hello, Matthew. I'm your clone. 100% match of everything, including political beliefs :D

Seriously, I'm a moderate too. I don't support in gun control, but I do support homosexual rights (that's what I get for having a gay family member).

HorseTechie 03-14-2003 07:19 PM

I see myself as a slightly liberal Republican... since it suits my religion nicely. I think it's said how they want to separate more of the religion out of the government now. But that's just the way I'm been raised. :/

Donatello02 03-14-2003 07:49 PM

See, I dislike it when people say they are Republican because they are Christian. I guess it's because both are conservatists...which I also dislike. Oh well...either way, to me, both parties are too much alike and neither make much of a difference. People tell me "well if you don't vote at all, then you shouldn't complain" well I should, seeing that both parties were elected for their positions by politicians who work for large corporations. A person voting either party makes no difference. Their should be a stronger third party, one free of liberal BS policies, but I HIGHLY doubt that will ever happen.

Tokka-B 03-15-2003 12:05 AM

Yea, Ralph Nader didn't get the 5% vote, so he won't have any campaign money to run with...

heretic888 03-15-2003 10:22 AM

hmmmm

I am transliberal, transconservative.

Tokka-B 03-15-2003 11:29 AM

Hmmm, I thought you were more on the conservative side heretic, oh well...

heretic888 03-15-2003 11:44 AM

hmmm...

i am more liberal in some issues, and more conservative in others. but my overall 'vision' is neither.

Tokka-B 03-15-2003 11:58 AM

Ah, ok...now I see, the opposite of a libertarian, heh.

heretic888 03-15-2003 11:59 AM

eh??

uhhh.... i guess??

Tokka-B 03-15-2003 01:13 PM

Let me make this easier: If you made our politics into a ribbon and you wrapped it into a circle, there would be a part where the left wing meets the right wing, that is where you are I guess. But the exact opposite to that is where the extreme left meet the extreme right, between them is libertarians I think, at least i think that is what they are called...I think that is more anarchist type people...hmmmm...

Reznorite420 03-16-2003 09:11 PM

All Green party supporters say "I".

I.
