Concerning Michaelangelo
 

This has probably been brought up before; but why did Michaelangelo stop using his nunchukus in the old show and switch to a grappling hook? I was super pissed when that happened.

Another thing: Mike was always my favorite turtle when I was a little, but now he just seems like dead weight. He has no real special talent except to talk like a pot head. Raph kicks things asses, Leo is the leader, Don is a science whiz, and Mike's a dope head? That pisses me off.

Mike is no dopehead. Of the 4 turtles, he's the most athletic and skilled. He's also obviously the funniest.

Hey I resent this thread :evil: Well I don't know about the cartoon series, they all kinda acted like potheads (No offense hey I loved it) and crappy 'go-lucky' fighters (save for the first and maybe the last seasons) but in the old comics (if memory serves) Mikey knew how to cook, was the kindest, most sympathetic turtle, brave, and didn’t he know medicine?

Mikey was always the greatest. I was just pissed that he never had any notable attributes that served any real purpose. But if he knew medicine, then everythings fine. And the whole nunchukus thing always got to me. My mind is eased, I thank you.

I like all a' dem turtle boys, but Mikey was always my fav. He cracked dis gatorman up like nottin else!

'Skilled' refers to the fact that he could jump though the fire hoops without getting singed, while Raph would get burned all ot hell and start a killing spree once he was through... Donatello was the smart one, but suffered in his combat due to this. Raph, being the hot head, was also the strongest. Leonardo was the balanced out of the four. He was a great thinker (for tatics... Other things like Math and Science were trivial...) and he was highly aethletic and fairly strong, able to go toe to toe with Raph and Mikey shoudl teh need arise. But, then again, me = huge Leo fan, sooooo.... yeah...

You DO realize that Don and Raph are both cooler than Leo, right? :P

I don't know... It's Leo who defeated Saki for the last time...

well when ya think about it "hothead" isn't a official position on a team. leo's the leader and donny's the brain, we all know that but the other two are still just as valueable. even if it isn't set i stone what their "job" is they still all serve their purpose and the team wouldn't be the same without them

I say the reason people didn't like Leo as much, regardless of how cool he's supposed to be, is the fact that his character isn't as fleshed out as the other three. He's more like a cardboard cut out compared to the rest.

i think the problem people have w/ leo is that most of their exposure to him is the old toon, which didn't fully display him in most of the eps and after season 3 he got reall y whiney
