TMNT and Your Pets
 

Do you have or have you had any pets with TMNT-related names or have you ever gotten a pet (like a rat or a turtle) because of TMNT? Post pics if you got 'em!

This is Klunk. I just got him on September 18th and he was 7 or 8 weeks old at the time. The reference is probably obvious.

I have 3 turtles named after Raph , Leo, and Mike. Sadly, Mike died last saturday ( R.I.P.)

Klunk is adorable, Goongasnootch. He's got intelligent eyes.

I've had:

Splinter - he was a blue agouti rat. A rescue. Lived for nearly 3 years before dying of a heart attack in my arms a couple days before christmas way back in 2001. :cry:

Umeko (named after Raphael's fox GF) - She was a black hood rat. Mean as heck at times. I was the only one who could handle her. I have a scar from where she bit me. She was a rather protective mother (I uh bred her to Splinter). Lived for 2 years. Died after a series of strokes. The poor dear.

Kenji - An agouti hood. Named after Umeko's first BF in TMNT Adventures.

Donnie - He was an Cinnamon rex (curly brownish hair). One of my show rats back when I was doing rat shows. He won a couple ribbons.

One time I was judging at a rat show and there was a whole litter named after the TMNT. Leonardo was a blue agouti, Donatello was a lilac (yes...there's purple rats), Michelangelo was a fawn (they're orange in colour), and Raphael was a black hood. :lol:

I had a tabby cat named Michelangelo a couple years ago. My mom named him after of course her fave turtle.

Currently I have a tabby cat named Cody, after the Fast Forward character.

This is Cody. He's a year old and currently weighs about 15 lbs (no, he's not fat at all. Just a really big cat. He's in a dog bed in this pic. *lol*)

My cat's name is K. Grace, with the K being Klunk.
That's really the only Turtle connection though, as my actual turtles are named: P. Lois, RestStop P., and Gilligan.
(I didn't name Gilligan)

My condolences to Raph's Girl and TMNTD over your lost pets. :cry:

Incidentally, my mother just got a cat she named Leonardo (thought not after the Turtle. :P He's an obese orange and white cat, but despite his girth, he's very strong, fast, and agile. And friendly. :)

I have a gecko named mondo... there are frogs and toads that chill in my backyard all the time (all of which i recognize on appearance) so when i see the one of each i refer to em as ghengis and napolean :p when i was little we used to have fish cause i had bad allergies and they were always named after the turtles haha

Funny how my cat got her name well i named her Turtle because she was a beautiful tortoiseshell cat totally forgetting my fav heroes few years later i meet my future hubby and his surname was Power we married then my hubby said to me you know what your cat is called now don,t you i said no what Turtle Power so now my cat was known as Turtle Power But sadly she was hit by a car 3 years ago i still miss her R,I,P Turtle Power.:cry:

i have a red eared slider that ive owned since kendergarden, his name is mikey (even though hes a RES, i always considered the stripe to be more of an orange)
