I still have my vhs tape of cartoon allstars to the rescue anyone else remember this

i thought it was so badass- i mean bugs bunny daffy duck, kermit,tigger,alf!,garfield!alvin,smurfsslimer, just everybody in one short!

a kids dream come true!

they helped me stay drug free.

and michaelangelo, how come they didnt have all 4 tmnt appear. i just love how he beats the crap outta that smoke guy w/ no problem

anyone else remember this? do you think they'll ever release it to dvd-
or can i give someone the tape and have them convert it to dvd?
because i cant get it right due to copyrights :(

I'm guessing tthey only used Michaelangelo because he was the most relatable of the four to kids most likely to be pulled into that lifestyle. Also, the other VAs might not have found time for it in ttheir schedules soon enough. Being a cult-classic, I'd say a DVD could be possible with the right amount of demand. Start campaigning, if you want it. Ask 'em at tvshowsondvd.com how you should go about it.

As for Cartoon All Stars.... To this day I question how Simon just KNEW it was drugs under the bed. I know he's smart and all but come on Simon...fess up! :lol:

As far as I know the Allstars Special is not allowed to be shown anywhere!

The Creator of Garfield hasnt given his OK that Garfield was allowed to be seen in the Special or something...

You could ask Lionsgate for it - Maybe they're gonna release it together with the 3 Season 5 Episodes of the original Toon on a "Special DVD" :roll:

An anti-drug commercial from 4 dudes who get the munchies for Pizza every 30 minutes, go figure.

it was dubbed in italian too, i think it had been an anti-drug international campaign.
anyway they should have chose leo, it would had been more indicate for that role.. mikey had more fans, so they chose him for that.

Well of the 4, Mikey represented what the turtles were most known for. Mikey's surfer talk was so infamous, the casual fan thought all of them talked like that (even Turtles Forever had Leo talk like that sometimes...). The famous Cowabunga catchphrase comes from Mikey, and of the 4 of them Mikey loves pizza the most.

I thought it got released on DVD. The Nostalgia Critic reviewed it and it showed him coming across a DVD copy I thought. Still, I don't really remember seeing this special as a kid but I'm sure I did.
