Did anyone know that there was a song called Rock Steady by The Whispers released in
 

It was released in 1987.
I just found out.

I've known and loved that song for ages, and ever since I got back into access with the TMNT after the old toon ended, I think about Rocksteady when I hear it.

It's also some 1960's song named Rocksteady.

I know there is also a Bad Company song called Rock Steady. Is that the 60's song? I've known about that Whispers song for many years and was always amazed how they kept saying Rock Steady, consistently reminding me of the rhino Rocksteady. There is also a Cyndi Lauper song named She-bop, which rhymes with Bebop. And there's "Touch and Go" by the cars, who are characters on the 2k3 show.

It's at least some 1960's song with the lyrics "Rocksteady easy". And it's a 1950's song named "Be-Bop-A-Lula".

I thought it was already common knowledge that Bebop and Rocksteady were named after musical genres...
