if you could pick one episode .....

if you could pick one episode of the 80's toon for them to make a live action full lenth movie out of, wich would it be?

With all due respect to the 1987 cartoon... none of them. I really don't think any episode of that show would translate well to live-action.

Return of the Shredder

Return of the Shredder. Less science fiction, and more martial arts action.

The Legend of Koji.

It shows the origin of the Foot Clan and thus would be a VERY good storyline for the theatre.

Divide and Conquer

My pick: "USAGI YOJIMBO". It's likely we'll never see another TMNT/Usagi crossover unless it's in Mirage.

Somehow adapting the first 5 episodes into a live-action movie.

I remember when word first came out about a live-action TMNT movie way back in the 90's, my friend and I thought they were gonna bring the the first 5 eps into live-action and kept wondering how the heck they were gonna do the special effects for Krang.

And borrow the Stockholm Globe Arena to use as the Technodrome http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...n_aug_1988.jpg :)

Heroes in a Half-shell movie or Leatherhead Terror of the Swamps!

Powder 11-07-2009 05:16 PM

Either the legend of koji, or The rogues gallery one. Orgin vs. a mutant fest bwahaha.

This.

Most episodes were full of science fiction.

I prefer animated TMNT to live action and this is more than one episode, but I think it would be cool to see the "Big" episodes (Big Rip Off, Big Break-In, Big Blow Out) made into a movie. Even if the rest wouldn't translate well into live action, the visual of a giant CG Technodrome rolling around above ground would be pretty cool.

Planet of the Turtleoids. That would be a huge clusterf*ck, but I would like to see it.

DonatelloDomeHead31 11-11-2009 05:03 PM

The Incredible Shrinking Turtles...who wouldn't want to see a close up of April looking at the turtles in Shredder's lair in live-action on the big screen...that would be cool.
