Technodrome vs New Technodrome
Turtles Forever has introduced new Technodrome to Turtles universe. Now it resembling Death Star even more than "original". Imho, new technodrome doesn't have significant features, like eye cannon(that give me creeps:) ) or humongous tank treads for example. Those Red-eyed cannon is the only(?) main cannon. But the real cool thing - its now have force field. No damage from all those military vehicles (I remember OT ep, where Technodrome's armour was so goofy weak, Leo cut through it with katana:D ). Thus I like old one more. How about you?

1987
I prefer the 1987 one.

Original by far. Not only is the design classic, but the new one came off looking like some sort of Death Star or something.
The original design is just awesome. A huge fortress with an eyeball on top? Classic 80's all the way. |

I like the original technodrome better. To me, I just can't think of a flying sphere without an eyeball on top as the Technodrome. That new Technodrome looks more like the Death Egg from Sonic & Knuckles than the Technodrome to me. |
The original is cool and all, but the new one is cooler IMO. But yeah, they should have added an eye on it.
|
You didn't see the eye in the center?
This new Technodrome is the first and only time I've ever been able to take it seriously, so it's not a difficult choice. |
Hmm, I guess I forgot. I watched it once to savior for the uncut version.
|
I like the new, because it actually WORKED !!
|
the upgraded technodrome had a awesome design
|
While the new Technodrom was obviously more powerful and useful from an attack standpoint, the design itself looked rather... generic.
The old Technodrome was unique and outlandish from a design standpoint. Either way, I'm not voting. |
the original, cause i'm old school. but the new one is cool
|
Old school one, it's design was/is awesome plus it made awesome appearances in a lot of the videogames, including smash up. The Giant Eye is awesome, as well as the Foot sign and the tank treads.

Archie Comics
You forgot the Archie Comics Technodrome. It's the same as the 1987 cartoon (as the first stories are identical), except that it's re-built into a spacecraft, "Skullbuzzer".

The OT Technodrome in Turtles Forever lost the drills that were side by side with the tank treads...
While it's interior is based on the 1987 season (specially Shredder's command room, which was seen only in the first 2 episodes), the tank treads were totally redesigned. I really liked the way that the Technodrome made it's escapade in the movie. In the OT, it's true that the Technodrome's cascade was pretty weak. BTW I prefer the OT one. |
Let's put it this way. If you were Shredder, which one would you want to ride around in?
Sure, the classic one is classic, but it was a joke. Every episode there was some new scheme of Krang's in order to power up some vital component to the Technodrome. I mean, let's face it, the original Technodrome was a piece of junk. The new one is just plain bad ass. |
none of them.
|
I'd have to say the new one because it seemed like much more of a threat than the old one.
|
The '87 Technodrome.
I dig the intentional comedic outlandishness of the OT series ("the nose knows!"), and it's got the whole nostalgia factor as well. Even with the way the Technodrome was introduced in Turtles Forever was great. Shredder trying to crank it up, and it's like, "Ah, yes. Welcome back, Technodrome!". :D |
Okey
I love the old Technodrome
Everybody know that thing and seen it Okey it whas broken in everyepisode or stuck on Dimension X but when it works, The Technodrome is 100% cool Like The Bigg Blow Out or The Bigg Break-In episode So I LOVE THE OLD TECHNODROME |
