a interesting project, we could all participate in
Hey dudes,
well a while ago i asked Peter laird if he could post any behind the scene pics of the turtle movies but i think he hasn't been able to look for them yet. so this got me thinking, do we here at the drome have any pics from the first two films? I have a few i have collected and am gonna post what i can later tonight. it would be cool if we could have a thread of just behind the scenes stuff of the 1st and 2nd tmnt movies. what you guys think? -M |
There are a bunch of photos in this thread, although it seems I need to sort some things out with Flickr.

I don't have any i'm afraid. Totally off topic, but when I saw the name 'agliarept' I was rather surprised that you were a new member - seemed that I had been reading posts by you for a long time. And then I realised that it was from palbog. :D

lol yea im always on palblog. I remember speaking to Peter at the New York Comic Con last year and he mentioned that he was there for a few days and got to take some great pics. He mentioned that he would have to look for them.
I have a few and im going to upload them tonight for you guys to see. Thanks for the links! |
Peter was there on set with the Mirage guys for a couple days, during that time they were around for the Raph and Casey fight, most of the end Shredder Fight, and a few other scenes. The official behind the scenes photos taken for Golden Harvest can't be released by Mirage because of a signed deal between the two parties. I don't want to give away to much, but for anyone who might have been at the Toronto Fan Expo Turtle panel there was a quick shot in the doc that would suggest something very much related to this thread. There is so much at stake with much of what we have, I don't want to promise something I can't release and or ruin our chances of using it by saying to much.... :tconfuse:

wow awesome, thank you for sharing that info, i really can't wait for that doc. most of the pictures im about to upload came from various web sites from the actors that were on the film so they are very candid and behind the scenes. others are from forums and prop owners. i love to search online for these images just to try and capture what the experience must have been like. by far my favorite film of all time..:-)
