Kaa-Mee-Haaa-Meeeee-HAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
Who here likes the "Dragon Ball-Z-GT" Series? 8)
|
Haven't Seen GT yet, I'd probably dig it though... I wasn't to down for Z, but I liked the original DB Series. been years scince Ive watched any of it though
|
I love dragonball and dragonball gt...dragonball z...well i was hooked back then when it aired here, but it can be tiresome sometimes.
Of course im refering to the subbed version and southamerican version...say NO to funimation ;p But yeah, if there's 3 anime that i used to watch when i was a kid that now are classics for me are: Saint seiya (knights of the zodiac) DB/Z/GT And bssm. |
I still like it but is a little boring 10eps. = 1fight
|
I agree with slash, that's why i say dragonball z is tiresome sometimes, they stretch fights too much.
It has its moments tho, i still think it's an awesome series. |
Not to mention all the movies are very simaliar they fight they lose they come back they win in short

You know, the last battle in sailor moon lasted almost 10 episodes if I remember right... i know it lasted a LONG time... I kept waiting for it to end, but all the characters kept dying... it was very odd for that show |
Heh...yeah...characters died a bunch of times in sailor moon :teek:
But at least not as much as dragonball z, in that one every character and his dog died and got resurrected  |

In Stars, during the battle with Galaxia, the only characters living untill the VERY end of the show, was the Star Lights, and Princess Serenity. (She fought the last battle as Serenity) |
Yup!And i think the senshi die in the first season too, but then get resurrected and dont remember what happend as they go back in time.
As for the dbz movies, i like em, specially the fusion one, it has some funny bits like when they fuse into that fat guy that bounces around and farts :D tho the highlights were the fights (what did ya'll expect?this IS dbz :p ) but the animation was better than the regular tv series one as its with most anime movies/oavs. So there, i liked the movies :D |

and yes, the animation was MUCH better in the movies! But then again, DBZ *IS* almost 20 years old... what do you really expect? |
True...the animation is kinda dated and it shows...but i like old anime anyways.
No...not that old, i cant stomach 60s' anime, they might be classics or whatever, they're just not my thing...what i mean is 80s (mostly late 80s yknow 86-89) and 90s anime. |

There's so many old anime i like, sm, db/dbz, ghostsweeper mikami, slam dunk, yoroiden samurai troopers (ronin warriors), saint seiya...the list goes on.
I do like old anime like mazinger z (in fact i think thats from the 70s but still) and astroboy, but that's about it. OMG and how i could forget gatchaman!Tho the version i saw seemed to be cut, it was called g-force  yes, evil dubs sometimes strike south america too. :P |

Well i always thought saint seiya was a very good anime, but then there's people already comparing it to dbz  to me, the plot was MUCH better in saint seiya, and there werent so many episodes...but i think you should judge for yourself.
As for mikami...are they airing it in america already? That's awesome! All i've ever seen of it in america was a dvd release of the movie. |

I tried to watch Dragon Ball Z once, but as soon as all the characters turned into giant gorillas I had to turn the TV off and go dry heave.

The Manga is alot better than the boring show. In the Anime there are so many filler episodes, which are just awful. But I agree that DB is not the brightest manga
