i just pre-ordered issue #1 through Diamond Comics at my local comic shop today.

is anyone else going to get this comic? i hope it is good and i hope they make this a little more mature rather than targeting this comic towards little kids.

Once more, if these are like the Dreamwaves TF comics they will be aimed at adults, and there will be on page death, but what applies to one comic may not to others

Judging by the cover it seems it will be heavily based on the cartoon. But I keep my hopes up. OF course, even if the death isn't that graphical, it can still be very good.

I'm gonna do the same when I go to the comic book store next month to get TMNT VOl. 4 #9, which should be pretty easy considering I was able to get the series on layaway just a day before the first issue came out.

I believe this comic will be geared for the FANS... of a broad age-range. That's what they did with the most successful TF comic "The War Within", which also utilizes old names and fan artists.

The War Within was awesome. I've been a fan of Don's work before he got hired by DW, so he's been around for a while. He even asked us at theAllSpark to help come up with background characters. I don't remember if any of my designs were used. Simon, the writer, is also experienced witht eh TF mythos. He wrote the original comics, and Beast Wars, so he's been around the block. Basically this book was great because they actually put great things together for it. The seekers even have original designs and transformations. It'd be great if they got Laird to write some stuff...

Very cool header on there...it truly is a dream come true to have Dreamwave doing a TMNT comic in their astonishing color manga style.
