TMNT characters at the library...

Suppose the cast of TMNT (any universe- or combine them all) goes to the local public library. What materials would they check out? What book section would they prefer? What authors would they choose? What programs would they attend? Any other library services they would enjoy?

Here are my guesses:

Leonardo- books and DVDs about martial arts and yoga and spirituality, historical fiction, yoga programs.
Donatello- the 500s, sci-fi, would use the computers the most to surf the internet, astronomy programs.
Raphael- action flicks, thriller books, humor books, perhaps some sport books.
Michelangelo- juvenile fiction, popular music CDs, plays games on the computers.
Splinter- parenting books, self-help books, fun programs that will babysit Mikey and Raph for a while ;)
April- business and career books, books about film and television, perhaps books about fashion and antiques.
Casey- books and videos about hockey, Amusement Business

I have just one thing to say.

THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE WILL TUPPER!

That is great. I don't think I can add anything.

Come on, people! I know y'all have more imagination than that.

Coola Yagami 04-10-2010 08:32 AM

It all sounds about right, cept Raph and Casey wouldn't go to the library unless someone dragged them to it.

Garreth 04-10-2010 09:47 AM

Id say for Casey, he'd be over in the adult section, checking out the porn mags :D

Why are there really odd threads about lately?

Anyways, they wouldn't be in a library, if anything Don would be all ninja and jack books and run back to the sewers. I don't think giant humanoid turtles would be aloud in a public library.

Lets see.

Chaplin: Scifi, using the Internet, Dating for Dummies.

Karai: Books on Bushido. Stories about Japanese mythology and heroes.

Hun: Gamer guides, porn

YOU GET PORN IN LIBRARIES? Nobody told me that, i'm signing up!*

*I've had a library card ever since I was wee. However, it doesn't get used that much - I like to buy my books and read them at my own pace

Nelson 04-15-2010 10:33 AM

I was reminded of Will Tupper, too, when reading the first post.

More ideas:
Raphael- anger management books.
Michelangelo- novels (remember, he's a writer in the Mirage Universe).

Scandia 04-15-2010 07:25 PM

I think Mikey would especially like graphic novels- not just Marvel/DC superhero ones, but also several kinds of manga. Though manga may also be more up Donatello's alley- and some may even be favored by Leonardo, such as Rurouni Kenshin.

And I think it would be Splinter who checks out the anger management books and makes Raphael read them.
