It's ok I dislike the placement of the name banner.

It looks like his helmet and face mask is being melted away or something. Other than that and the banner, it's meh.

Hmm, if only they put the banner across the bottom of the Shredder image, that t-shirt would be improved a thousand fold. But still, its nae too bad!

I actually really like it, but not $24 like it. Maybe $8 like it.

I personally think the artwork translates horribly to a shirt. I know it's iconic and all but that version looks all blob like. The one in the actual book is much nicer. Was that some Laird scribble they used? Looks like his style.

I love the fact that it's based on such an iconic image, but it fails as a t-shirt. Those lines in the background, the banner... it ruins the drawing (wich has already been ruined enough by Freehand, by the way).

Still, it's a lot nicer than most of the TMNT shirts on that site.

I can get a custom shirt for a few bucks less and make it a hell of alot better looking. Another Tmnt FAIL to add to the list. Check.

I'm confused was the idea to make it seem like he was jumping through the air or something? So they took a drawing of him squatting on a rooftop and took the rooftop away? Why even waste the money on making sub-par clothing designs like that. Did they have a pre-schooler trace that or something? I've seen fan art on these boards that puts that to shame. Looks like his skin is melting, and well the banner placement is just horrible. I'm not seeing how he "shredded" the banner, his arm is back about the strike. So did his helmet cut it in half?

If any of those companies (80stees, hot topic and such) started making an Archie TMNT shirt line, well there isn't much to be done wrong there and I'd probably buy every one. In fact speaking of melting skin, I would love a shirt of Raph's dream sequence from issue 62. With a laughing Raph's skin melting in acid rain, while he stands triumphant over Verminator, Shredder and Armaggon. Now that I'd spend 25 bucks for. In fact just reprinting the shirts Lavigne showed years ago on his blog of Scumbug, Man Ray, Wingnut and Mondo Gecko from Archie would get my money.

When it comes to TMNT t-shirts, common sense and wasting t-shirt material matters very little.

On a related note has anyone seen the movie poster shirt recently? Back when people were first posting it I went to several hot topics and none of them carried and and they never heard about it, and I think one guy was a TMNT fan. He thought the shirt sounded awesome when I described it but had never seen it in his store.

I really wanted that movie poster shirt.

That Groucho Marx like Raph shirt is horrendous. It amazes me what gets approved when it comes to t-shirts and hats. I usually never pass up TMNT items, but when it comes to the clothing I do it all the time. If they actually put some thought into it, and maybe got some artists that care about the property to draw the designs, then maybe I would buy them.

On the other hand I may go pick up that "Hey Arnold!" shirt, and do my eyes deceive me or is that a Quailman shirt? I haven't been in Hot Topic forever, I should go see what non TMNT shirts they have I guess.

Ok, yeah, the art is shotty... but still, its a mirage shredder shirt. The extra 4 dollars is deffinately worth complaining about but best believe if I had the dough to spare I'd cop it.
