Awesome Dreamwave TMNT in the newest issue of Wizard!!!!!!!

Go to your local comic shop and get the latest Wizard. It has an excellent 2 page article (with new LeSean art) inside.

MzTheInsomniac 03-30-2003 05:07 PM

how about someone scan it :D

Karpo_007 03-31-2003 01:40 AM

Yes, I hope someone does!

SavantiRomero 03-31-2003 01:53 AM

Does someone have the issue number?

Karpo_007 03-31-2003 01:55 AM

The guy syas it's latest...

TMNT is cooler than MOTU 04-01-2003 08:56 PM

It's #140.

Raven 04-01-2003 08:59 PM

some one take a shot for us and scan the damn thing!

Shellfox 04-04-2003 02:54 PM

is that the one with the Hulk cover (one of the covers)?

BigThew 04-09-2003 04:22 PM

no
but there is a Hulk in the top right corner of every cover

anyways i got it
and read it and looked at the art they had
i wasn't really that impressed with the art at the coloring that i saw,
and i don't know if i will like the story much

"wont get to fully see the turtles until issue 4"
what the heck

Raven 04-09-2003 04:32 PM

oh man I got to get that!

Karpo_007 04-09-2003 04:41 PM

TMNT comic with out TMNT? The comic should center on them, and then have the support characters...

Eye of Sarnath 04-09-2003 05:05 PM

No, it makes sense to me. They won't be fully revealed until issue 4, which means that maybe before then the story will be through the point of view of another character who sees them, knows them, whatever. It should make for an interetting change.

Stone Ill 04-09-2003 05:12 PM

Yeah, it mentions that a rookie cop and a foot soldier, who used to be friends, will mean once againt in Issue #1.

SavantiRomero 04-10-2003 12:03 AM

Reality

Oh nice I like those stories alot where the writer makes an extremely lifelike approach. Don't get me wrong I also enjoy the extremely far fetched stories in outer space, parrallel dimensions and other things like sorcery and undead... but every once in a while a good "more normal" story helps to keep the vision and ideal that the Turtles can be real, hurt, bleed, die.

Can't wait. Oh and I should be able to get that issue of wizard in the next week, the magazines are all about a month old here.

Karpo_007 04-10-2003 06:50 AM

You think the dreamwave can allow the TMNT get wounded? They do bleed in Mirage, but I don't remember they would have in archie.

Leo656 04-10-2003 07:07 AM

The Future Turtles did... Raph lost his eye, and Mikey went blind for a while...

Karpo_007 04-10-2003 07:42 AM

I don't remember seeing any blood in either one of those, but I could be wrong, it has been years since I read them.

GK Punk 04-10-2003 07:45 AM

Yeah I can't imagine too much blood if any being in the DW comic... I think it'll be semi-violent, just not that bad

Leo656 04-10-2003 07:51 AM

Well the Mutanimals got blown away and left in a pool of blood, corpses all strewn about... that was pretty hardcore... that count?

Karpo_007 04-10-2003 09:35 AM

Yeah, but the point was none of the TMNT got wounded. But we don't know yet how violent the dreamwave comic will be.
