Whut?

Now, I like to think I know a little bit of most of the canons and I have to say I've never heard of him cooking in canon. Only Mike (mostly) and Leonardo (one time in one of the comics).

Ideas?

Edit: Brought to my attention by a friend who is also curious.

Probably someone trying to be funny. They're using Wikis free edit to try and make a statement about how imperfect Wiki is. Doing so by editing a page that has no historical relevance and probably won't at any point be used by anyone for research. Thereby it's on the back of Wiki's list of corrections as they spend their time fixing important things about the Civil War and works of art.

That or someone who watched the old toon thinks all of Don's failed pizza cooking and food related inventions count as him being a chef.

He's more likely to experiment with the toaster than making toast.

I don't think any of them can cook.... Raises a few questions about there diet when you bring up these types of things.

In the OT Mikey was an excellent cook, it's just sometimes his taste for pizza was too weird even for them.

They live in a sewer and you're wondering about their diet from cooking? I'm I'm curious about where the food comes from. It's either garage or they have to have money, and a lot at that.

This is actually one of the times I like the OT origins better. Splinter being Yoshi is an easy way to explain where their home comes from.


Btw, last night I was watching a couple of episodes and Donnie shows signs of cooking in both. In the first, he was looking for a cheese shredder at the end to make a pizza. In the 2nd, he made some sushi (not sure if that's cooking, but whatever) for Splinter and his master. Not saying that's proof of Donnie being a cook, just a funny coincidence. If any of them can cook it'd be Mikey and he's average at best.

Of course, there's always the odd stuff Playmates does. I have a hunch that there's a bio card that says one of 'em can cook. Of course, those are usually jokes.

Didn't he also make a giant coffee machine in the opening credits of the '87 series? I recall in the opening credits there's this giant machine and under it was a coffee cup...and the machine didn't work :D
