Blank figures to make customs (GI-JOE size) 3"3/4

OK. I just found this website while surfing the web, and I don't think it was ever posted on the forum before :

They sell blank action figures for custom. So far, they have only the "Blank Alpha" buck, but they plan to release more (you can vote for the body type you want them to release next here : http://www.gonativetoys.com/news.php .

This is what they say about their "blank alpha" buck :
Quote:

Alpha is the first in the Blanx series of customizable action figure base bodies. Designed to be a great starting point for action figure customizers. Also useful for modelers, sculptors, diorama builders, and even as an artists pose mannequin, due to the infinite posing capability.

1/18th or 3 3/4 inch scale and constructed with the easily customizable O-ring body style. Highly articulated with hinged ankles, double hinged knees, knee swivel, ball hips, pivot waist, ball shoulders, hinged elbows, elbow swivel, rotating wrist, ball neck lower, and ball neck upper. All joints are designed and sculpted to have a very high range of motion, allowing for realistic, dynamic, and extreme poses.

The Alpha 001 costs $6.99 a piece.

I just hope this can be interesting for some of you, and wanted to share the info with you.

3 and 4 look okay, but the rest are musle bound like something Mattel would make. Not sure of the construction either. Might make a nice base for Hun though.

Also, 3 looks like Lotus Blossom.

Pretty cool find. 1 looks like Batista and 5's face is like a young Arnold Shwazenneger.

And number 4 looks like the son of Laurence Fishburne and the bad guy from Bloodsport.

Seems like figure number 2 could be a good base for a Seth (Street Fighter) custom.

Since I just now started trying my hand at customizing at this scale, this might be worth it - especially since they're cheaper that the actual figures themselves most of the time. I hope they come up with more templates though... there isn't much of a selection there, especially with only one female.

I wish there were more options to customize stuff at the standard scales that TMNT figs come in. There's a lot of products that cater to figs much smaller, and much larger, but I've seen little to work with in-between.
