Ninja Turtles comics pulled?
 

So I went to Silver Snail(Toronto's best comic book shop) yesterday and noticed all their TMNT stuff was gone. When I was at the register making my purchase I asked the guy about it and he said they were told to pull everything off the shelf.

...This happen anywhere else? He could be just pulling my leg but I don't see any reason for him to do so. That being said, downtown Hamilton still has a store that has some tradebacks, so I don't know.

The new shop I found last week still had TMNT stuff. It might have just been a choice the owner of the shop made.

Isn't this when the owner transition is suppose to take affect? BC if it is that might be why

Very odd... I've had no problem getting back issues as of late & the place that stocks the latest stuff still has copies of tales #70 out. I'm gonna assume that its only that particular shop, dude.

Perhaps they sold so very few that they thought to remove them? Or maybe someone called in & said "I want every TMNT comic you have can you pull them aside for me?"... I've done it haha.

It was likely just your shop.

Chances are whoever owns it heard "OMG they aren't making TMNT comics ever again!1!" and had them all pulled to either sell some place else or create a local shortage to drive up demand.
