Looking for artist
 

So I want to make a Turtle comic. A mix between OT/NT/Mirage. It would sort of be along the lines of what Marvel did with the Ultimate lines of comics. I just can't really draw well. Would like to collaborate with someone who likes to draw.

Could you expand a little on the storyline that would be behind it?

somebody should make a comic where every page is done by a different artist.

I've been working on re-drawing issue 1 of the Mirage TMNT series in old-school cartoon style. I'd love to throw a page of that up against all the other crazy styles of all the other artists here.

But I don't have time to work on a whole comic. Actual work forces me to keep Ninja Turtles stuff down to a minimum...

There is enough good artists here, it would be easy to do. We just need a good pitch.

I think so. There are like 900 somethin' members & only like 45 pages in the comic. Not everything has to be great, we could have someone who sucks even do a page haha. Think of it, some in pencil, some in pen, some painted, some colored in photoshop, some black & white, some drawn in crayon, some all grey. Some intricate, some looking like the toon, some that mimic the originals, stick figures & so forth. Just one giant collaboration. If there aren't enough people down we can do two things to solve the problem; 1. Ask some turtle pals of ours on deviantart to lend a hand, & have our more talented members do more then one page.

Maybe at the end we could pool money together to make some copies & send em out to the fanbase for nothing more then shipping.

This sounds like fun... I wouldn't mind jumping in and helping. :)

Sounds good to me. I will start a new thread for this in which everyone can claim their page(s) of choice. For now, pick no more then 2 (for those of you who may choose to do more then one, try to pick pages that are far apart from eachother).

I'm gonna take pages 1 & 30.
