How old were you when the original cartoon started in 1987?
 

Back in 1987, I was 2 1/2 years old. lol.

I think I began watching the Turtles in 1988 or 1989 when I was 3-4 though.

It amazes me how young I was yet I still got swept up in the TMNT craze somehow.

Had turned 8 a month after it first aired.

Dude... I wasn't even a fetus at that time.

I was born in July of 88 so I wasn't even a fetus yet. Been watching it ever since I can remember. My Dad told me he used to sit me in front of the TV to keep me busy while he did house work and a lot of the time it'd be when turtles was on. I saw Turtles 2 in theaters but I barely remember it. Seeing 3 was the only one I can remember, and it's memories of extreme disappointment.

I didn't exist.

I was still a sperm in my dads testicles. I was born in 1990.

The only memory I have of that show would be one of my brother's VHS tape and his toys. And that would be like in 1998.

Yeah basically the same for me, my brother just watched it with me on a VHS. And I had a cool turtle that spinned on it's shell. Yeah...

Unless you were more than three months premature, you were a fetus at that time. It was last week of December/first week of January that the pilot season premiered.

I was 4 or 5 at the time and I wouldn't be surprised if I was hooked from day one, although I don't really remember. (Although I remember drawing Turtle Mary Sues, even back then. XD)

I was 6 most of that year but I turned 7 in December. I didn't get into the show until a couple years later though.

Was born in Oct 1988 so, yeah. Started watching and getting into the turtles around 93 or 94.
