Bronze statues from 25th Anniversary shellabration?
 

Does anyone know what happened to those large bronze casts of the turtles they were giving away as prizes for the 25th anniversary celebrations?

They were giving them out? Damn, I missed out on a lot.

I think someone here won them. I remember someone started a thread about winning them, so maybe a quick search will help you.

Not sure. I think Murph was selling one a while back. But damn those things were UGLY.

No idea where the rest went. Kinda stupid to make 5 statues and only give away 1 of them.

Nice find. How big are these babies anyway? I mean, they look life size but (obviously) they are not. The heads are very movie-style.

Edit- OK, I like the Leo, but does anyone have a picture of that one from the front??

they are bit over 1 metre tall.... that picture posted does make them look alot bigger than they really are.
