Weapons

I want to make my own weapons. First, I'm working on some nunchucks that are looking pretty good. If you have pictures or plans of your own homemade chucks, please share. Second, I want to make a huge sword. Shorter and fatter then most swords. Just a huge cleaver for smashing things, but still with a sharp edge. I want to heat a piece of metal in a fire and shape it, but im not that smart and will probaly kill myself. Any pointers or guidlines befor I begin?

Ok, are you some kind of psycho? Seriously, I don't know anyone who would feel a need to make there own weapons...

I am not crazy, just bored. It gives me something to do. And whats so physco about having weapons when guns are more dangerous, not that I have anything against people who own them. I just want to make my own for something to do. I'm not going to kill anyone.

its cheaper than buying them...

I had a pair of homemade knunchukus made from the end of pool sticks and chain, but I lost them.

I've wanted to find a pole big enough to use as a bo, but no luck so far.

Gwgtrunks, When I was looking on the internet for nunchuck plans I think I saw those. Were they black and the chain looked almost gold? Maybe someone else just used pool sticks like you.

i've got a pair of chucks i picked up at a garage sale. at first i thought they were bamboo, but upon closer inspection they're actually two table legs strung together. :P
i seriously must discourage you from trying to make a sword until you have the proper equipment and know at least entry level knowledge about heat and folding metal.
