My Great Grandmother is 93 years old. and she been around since World War 1.

Nickokapo 04-07-2003 08:20 PM

Oh hey that was fast, thanks michaelangelo :D
I'm not sure about my grandmother's age, but my grandfather's one is around 80 years...he used to be really active (working on his garden and stuff) which surprised me for someone his age, but last year one of his foot got kinda injured so now he's not all that active anymore.
Death comes to us all like splinter sez', but i'd like to live as much as my grandfather is and still be as active, that'd be cool :D

Everyone in my family has lived to be like 90 or 100 years old. The way I live, I'll be lucky to see 40.

dose people reach the age of 1,000?

Raven 04-08-2003 07:18 PM

in the old testament I belive it said there was a man that lived to be about over 900 years old and im not talking about Adam
some other guy

That Matt Guy 04-08-2003 10:16 PM

Supposedly there were native Americans that lived to be hundreds of years old, but their entire perception of how long a year was is totally different then what we know. They might have thought of one season as year and so on.

For one thing the Bible is not a myth and no one even reached 1,000. The oldest man recorded in the Bible was Methuselah, who lived to be 969.

"And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died." Genesis 5:27 KJV

Tokka-B 04-09-2003 08:41 PM

Wow, that is a pretty long time, how did he manage that? :-?
