Next Mutation Merchandise or Customs?
 

Hi everyone, Im probably one of the worlds biggest fans of the next mutation and I would really appreciate any information or pictures on any merchandise or toys that were released. ANY AT ALL!!

I would also LOVE to see ANY pics of customs people have made or seen!!

I know about the figure line, but thats about it... theres just a severe lack of information out there on the Next Mutation in general.

I will LOVE all who help me out and share or contribute with me!!

You know I didn't like the NM series but some of the figures were cool. I liked the Turtleflage line.

That leonardo custom is absolutely phenominal! I adore it, does anyone on this website do customs? I would so commission some work like that.

As for the Raph one, its good also, but lacks the detail of the Leo one that makes it scream NM, such as the differing armoured chest (plastron), the unique weathered ripped up mask Raph has, this one has just been lengthened? and the other details such as the correct knee and arm pads and the colour of his Sais would have been nicer if changed. It looks too much just like an 2K version toy release still. But regardless any effort is better than non! Speaking of customs I have done some custom paints of NM figures if anyone wants to see pictures? Im a beginner though so its nothing spectacular and I wasnt using the best paints to say the least, just what I had from after staying in hospital - basic acrylics. Plus I dont know how to finish him off ie. what sealent to use if any..

By the way thank you so so much for posting that link, you dont know how much it means to me to find gems like that... each new link, each new bit of information or each new bit of merchandise adds to the puzzle and emptiness of what it feels like to be a NM freak in a NM hating world :P it was just so unpopular and unsucessfull that I not much merchandise was released at all, and hardly any information is on the internet also. I have spent hours and hours and months, years, looking.

You know what the biggest problem was that us westerners only got to see the butchered episodes thus the disjointed and 'emptiness' and even at times nonsensical nature of them. I have a DVD from Israel of the NM, its in hebrew but the episodes are so much better, they have way more content... and so many people dont know this in the west, they think that what we got was NM, but it wasnt, just a butchered peice of what could have been. Italy, France, and Poland also got to see the full length episodes, and it was thus popular there, as well as Israel.

Also, thank you for that site link guys, and also to Luz, thanks for the kind words... after reading all the bad commentary and nasty comments in previous historical posts against the NM I was/am very reluctant to show my fervent passion for the NM! Of course I dont hate the people that hate the NM to the degree of writing bad things against it, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and there of course is merit and value and truth to be found in their criticisms, but im just someone who fell in love with the flawed baby of NM and looks past these issues. The one issue I dont look past though is when people do get personal about taste, too personal, and then pick on someone for being different and going against the popular opinion, but I can see your all good people here, not like other TMNT fans who've totally slanged me out over loving the NM

Do you have any toys or other merchandise powder? or any info on what was released? I only know of a few random things, not too much was released that I know of so Im always seeking new info and items!

Well the link "The Ninjinister" posted is really the only Next Mutation product list out there to my knowledge. I once had pajama sets from it that made you look as though you were one of the TMNT & I do still have a coloring book, but short of those & a few action figures I've not got much.

Hey do you still have the pajama set or a picture of it? and do you have a picture of the colouring book? Or can you get one? if not whats the name and condition of the book? if your willing to sell or trade i'd take it if its nice :tgrin:

I cant believe they sold pajamas like the Next Mutation turtles, thats amazing... I HAVE to see a pic of it and eventually have one!!!

I don't still own the pajamas, they were worn to death, haha. I've not got any pictures of them either. I could scan a few pages of the coloring book though, sure. There's no way that I'd sell it, however.

And I love a lot of things about next mutation.

I`ll upload a pic of a colombian (or venezuelan?) notebook with a netx mutation design, it`s really cool, IMO.

can you please scan the cover or let me know what its name is? that'd be great!! I understand not wanting to sell, but its something i must always ask! I have one colouring book myself... I'd love to see which one you have. It should have a title/name on it somewhere.

PPS. if you ever come accross any nm. related stuff let me know asap or pick it up for me so i can purchase it from you! Im after merchandise ^^

This is the notebook i told you. I think is a cool item, but maybe for u, is not too spectacular.

I bought it loooong time ago in venezuela.

It´s an official item, it is made in mexico, so i was wrong -i thought it was from colombia or venezuela-.
