TMNT Puppets
 

Hey guys, i don't post here to often but i am always Lurking around. i am a puppeteer and Puppet Builder and have my own web Series called ScrapsTV..any ways enough self promotion..recently i decided to build a set of turtle puppets. i designed them so far and i am gonna build them within the next two months ill keep you guys posted and i will share pictures...i am debating building the weapons for them or using my 13" turtles weapons

i am also debating on Style of Bandannas( long or short) and Belts( movie or cartoon) Armbands i am thinking keeping colored like the Bandannas....any suggestions?

These will be cool, my baby loves puppets!

those look exactly like the bandanas that came with my TMNT Shell backpack

thats cause i used them(well one of them ) as a base the masks are made from a softer more flow like...my original idea was to use the backpack ones but i don't think they will work right they are a bit to stiff

im gonna try to use antron fleece but its hard to find, its the same material the muppets are made from. if i can then im gonna go for a pill free fleece..the shells right now im debating using pleather but we shall see whats availabe

I knew it looked almost identical, yeah theyre definantly stiff i wore one on halloween and the material just does not want to tie or stay tied.

yea i tried one on my head first , figured if it fit me then it would fit a puppet and i had the same problem...i might remake them again out of a silk like fabric

It'd be cool if you gave them different colored skin like in the 2003 cartoon.

i was going to but then id have to die the fleece myself and thats a major hassle...ive destroyed 2 good washing machines and turned a tub blue dieing fabric for puppets

as you can see i changed their eyes to a more toon look and like this alot better...im really happy with how they turned out
