I screwed up bad
 

So I don't have anyone I can talk to really at the moment because it is 2:33 am where I am at and the only friend I have here is asleep and is also my sister. Let me start at the beginning.

I moved into this house with my friend because at the time my sister kicked me out. We had had a huge fight and I left. I could have probably fixed it but i chose to let it get bigger and left. So my friend from work let me come stay with them. I've been living her a little over a year. Well things have been really good and I've been paying them 200 a month. Well his girlfriend/finance has wanted the house to themselves since i moved in. Meanwhile his brother and another of their friends moved in. So they are trying to get everyone to leave now.

I can't hold that against them. If I had got a house with someone I intended it to be just me and them and a bunch of people moved in I would be mad too. Anyway I told them I would be out by the end of April because I thought things where going to work out. They haven't. But what they heard was April. So they thought the first of April.

So here I am totally screwed at the moment. My sister had said before if I needed I could come stay with her again. I needed to look for a job out there. I haven't. That is my fault. I've really screwed up this time. I'm looking at being homeless homeless. Guess that's what I get for always just living from day to day. Anyway had no one to talk to and I don't know thought I would reach out here. Thanks for listening.

I'm looking through what little turtle stuff I have here. Thinking of posting what I have for sale to just try and get some extra money if I end up needed to try andget a hotel room or something to stay in for a while. It's really breaking my heart to even think about that. But shelter and food come before everything else. Anyway just something else I guess I felt like sharing.

IMO... I think you could talk with your sister....after all, she is your sister...!
You are family and even with the usually fights for different opinions (something so normal between brothers/sisters), you both probably will not leave alone a member of your own family homeless! ...

No i think I might have worded that poorly. The plan is to live with my sister if I have to, I don't think she would leave me that stranded. I just can't talk to her right now cause she is asleep. I just found all this out like an hour ago. No one awake to talk to.

Ehemm...Vodka dont fix problems...only makes just make them go away momentarily and then problems come worsens....

Call your sister in the morning. Be cool, be honest. Tell her what you just told us. Assume everything will work itself out, and get some sleep.

Trust me I thought of that. Though as I will be not sleeping more then likely and driving soon well that isn't an option.

Well good luck with everything mate hope things go well with your sister. Family can be hard sometimes but they are always there in times of need.

Sorry to hear about that, Carl. Just try to stay strong. It's nice of your sis to still let you live there despite the fight you had.

Sorry to hear about this man. Obviously, you have identified that procrastinating on the job hunt was not a good thing, so I won’t beat that into the ground. I will; however, do my best to provide you with solid advice here.

First, I would suggest securing your living situation with your sister. Whatever the problem was between you, resolve it and move forward from it. Next, get your resume updated STAT!!! Do not hesitate on this. When you have everything compiled in your resume, have someone you trust review it for any errors. Then start looking for a job and hard core! Be assertive! Do not give up. It's a tight market, but things are getting better.
I will say, I spent about a year trying to help my mother find a job. She didn't have very much work experience as she used to be a stay at home mom. We were getting turned down left and right, but eventually landed an awesome job for her.

If you have any work experience at all, you already have a leg up on my mom. So don’t get discouraged if you don’t land a job you want right away. I would also suggest that you consider something that might pay less than your earning potential until you can find something you want.

Well things have taken a drastic change in the last few days. So here goes the update.

I will be moving to Utah on the 4th of April. I am going to go live with my Dad and Step-mom. My sister can't really get her life in order so going back to live with her really wasn't a good idea. At least going to where my Dad is I have a chance to go back to school too.

I really think this is the best course of action. I'm really looking forward to it. Job hunting will not be fun, but work is out there for those who want to find it. I look forward to taking the next step in this journy called life.

Well talked to my Dad, he works as a detailer and the forman of the fabrication yard told him to have me come in and talk to him when I get there. So at least I have a foot in the door somewhere. I packed up today. Taking my NECA's and Comics with me. I'll keep you guys updated as the day gets closer and I get there.
