Things You Like, But Others Don't Like
Well we have a topic about what we hate that other people love. Now the opposite. What do you like, but other people hate?
FOX News Best Buy - most locations have customer reviews below 3 stars Classic Nickelodeon (Pre 2000) Pokemon (Seasons before Johto) Bowling - there are some exceptions to me not liking sports Dodgeball - I don't mean the movie. Volleyball - Again, there are some exceptions to my disliking for sports Waterparks Classic movies and TV shows including B&Ws Classic Nintendo and Sega games Sushi - the real stuff not that Americanized stuff in the grocery stores Raw cookie dough My hamburgers cooked medium-rare Bike riding many miles per day, except in cold months where it's harder for me Severe thunderstorms - as long as nothing gets hurt or no one gets killed. Just something to put on a light show. Blu-Ray format - It seems people are still more into DVDs. eBooks - I perfer listening to books intead of reading. Arnold Schwarzenegger (I know I misspelled that) - I like some of his muscle movies like Conan The Barbarian/Destroyer, Red Sonja, Terminators, and some of those comedy movies where he had to get tough such as Jingle All the Way. Monster Truck Rallys Demolition Derbys Studio Amusement parks like Univsersal Studio in Florida Adam Sandler movies - some not all. The NeverEnding Story - Mainly the 1984 movie Cartography - It's drawing maps and plans Day dreaming Foods classes in school |

This thread is just going to dissolve into 'things I like' really quick just like the opposite thread. I'm okay with people of color. Mostly myself. |
I wanted to start a thread like this, but I was concerned about running the whole thing into the ground. Anyway I'll just say what's on my mind.
cats Nintendo video games chocolate Power Rangers Okay not everybody else hates those. It's just that I noticed that these are the things for which most people seem to have an intense disdain. |

Going back to my past;
Don Mahoney & Jeanna Clare: A local Houston show where young kids showcased their talent (mostly dance classes), hosted by those two cowboys. Don played harmonica, guitar & sang while Jeanna had a voice that shattered like glass! My family thought they were a bunch of phony balognas while I liked it! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3.../DonJeanna.jpg Get the gong!!! Kids Incorporated; My younger cousins thought they sucked because they sung other perople's songs. I stuck with it until 1989 when Ryan Lambert left the show. And I met Mario Lopez! Hee Haw: I loved those corny jokes and sketches & when Roy Clark sang. He was my first influence for wanting to play the guitar. My brother disliked that. The Lawrence Welk Show; Since Houston didn't have American Bandatand until 1984, it was my mild fixtuire to hear classy music, sponsored by Geritol & Sominex. My aunt thought I was fruity while I thought it was wunnerful, wunnerful, wunnerful! |

Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus.

How the f*ck do people hate Nintendo, Nickelodeon, Pokemon, cats, chocolate etc? Aren't these supposed to be exceptions and not the rule, not the other way around? This thread is dumb.
Cure has the right idea, there's no end to the hate you hear for that kid and Miley. Those actually make sense. He's genuinely retarded and a 5 year old girl for liking anything that has the possibility of showing up on the cover of Teen Beat, but that's besides the point. |
It's true, I'm a total girl.
|
I like the Star Wars prequels, especially Episode 1.

Less offended and more shocked to the very core of my being! Personally, I was always a fan of Boss Nass.

Also, the only memorable good thing about the Episode I video game adaptation was the ability to kill any gungan you wanted, sometimes without serious consequences. |
