Why is Baxter's motivation so poor?
 

Baxter turns to a criminal simply because he got fired from his job for being late once. This for some reason compells him to use a robot suit to break into the building, but he can't do that either because he fails.

So not only is his motivation poor but his robot suit can't even break into a building.

This disappoints me and makes me think the villains won't have much depth to them.

How do you people deal with this guy?

Im sure that the villians will be a lot better in the actual show once it airs.

we kow very little about Nick Baxter, time will tell.

What I would like to see is Baxter starting off as incompetent and wimpy but then gradually turn more and more cynical and become
twisted.

As far as we know that plot was just for the test audience pilot, I don't think anyone really has a clue if that will even be the real storyline for Baxter.

Unfortunately CyberCubed we're just going to have to wait and see what Nick does now.

Did you tell Nick this or what you didn't like when you watched it? If not you should.

I'm currently writing my own version of turtles and Baxter's motivation is quite strong in it. I personally think it makes him a stronger character the way I wrote it but I don't think Nick, or anyone, would be willing to go there.
