Good to see the TMNT acknowledged, though I can't say I feel Raph is the most "hero" of the four brothers.

I guess top comic book protagonists didnt have the same ring for them

Ranking just below Prof. X and above the dude from Y: The Last Man.

Not too bad at all.

Compared to the fun-loving Michelangelo or the born leader Leonardo, Raphael is a far darker and more confrontational turtle.
Lol, Donny fans, time to riot as IGN didn't even think Donatello warranted a reference.

EDIT: And the Top 5 was so predictable! I think Iron Man & Thor made the Top 15 on account of their recent movie success. Wally West was a bit of a surprise at #8.

Nothing wrong with that. Not against any rules. I think Iron Man did wonders for that title. Personally, I couldn't have given two $hit$ about Iron Man prior to the movie; Thor as well

As for the top 100. I watched all 100 of them. Fun list. Go Raph. They clearly wanted to included the tmnt but didn't want to use 4 spots for them so they used Raph to represent the foursome

Why couldn't a "team" make the list? I mean I'm a Raph fan, but the Turtles work best as a team, and I'd be hard pressed to pick him over the others when it comes to representing the whole team.

agreed. But that would have hampered their inclusion of several X-Men characters all listed individually.

True, though some, like Wolverine, work OK away from the team....OK maybe only Wolverine.

EDIT: Poor Usagi's only 92....:(

This is cool, but they made a boo boo with his first appearance. #1 came out in May of 84.
