Favorite TMNT Theme Song
 

So out of the different theme songs, which one is your favorite?

Haven't heard them all? You can listen to the different ones here.

I myself will always be a fan of the original theme song. Did you know that Chuck Lorre (Two and Half Men, Big Bang Theory creator) wrote and performed the original theme? In second I am gonna have to go with the Back 2 The Sewers Original theme. Lastly, I am gonna have to give it to the theme used in the later seasons of the original series. I can totally imagine Rodney James Dio (R.I.P) belting out TURTLE POWER!. Anyone know who did that version?

Does "T.U.R.T.L.E. Power" count as the theme to the first film? If so, that.

Sure, there are no rules to what counts, but if this gets added to the list of themes then so does Ninja Rap... :D

I know that I'm gonna be in the minority here. But I think my favorite might actually be the original cartoon's second theme song. I find it much catchier and more enjoyable than the first one. It's either that one or the 2003 one where Karai says "Watch out for Shredder."

The original OT theme will always be my fav. Though I also dig the second version from the OT. It has a definite 80's hair metal vibe when they're singing "TURTLE POWER".

I don't care for any incarnation of the 2k3 theme song, but for whatever odd reason I think the Fast Forward one is pretty catchy.

i like all the OT themes from the begginin to the end of the series

My favorite is the Red Sky theme.

I like the Fast Forward and Back To The Sewers ones also.

I honestly don't recall some of the theme songs but after listening to that whole list I would still pick OT song hands down.

The original OT theme, hands down. I don't care where you are; you hear that opening sound, things happen. :P

The old toon's opening theme song. I also liked the Red Sky season version but the first one was the most memorable.

2k3's Japanese opening titled "Jounetsu no Kaze" by Inazuma Sentai and "Everybody"by Turtles4. I also loved the ending song called "Koishite Kimeru!" by Kimeru... it's just a really fun song. I also love, LOVE the ending song called "Fighting Spirit" although I'm not sure who sings that one.

If I had to choose the best theme song, I love the 2nd theme to the original series. This actually sounded cool. In fact, I think Bon Jovi could have sung this one. They are from Jersey. I don’t even mind the 2k3 demo theme. That should have been the theme song for that series. It sounded like that Michael Jackson hit “They Don’t Care About Us.” Still, one that sounds like an 80’s metal hit is the best, so I have to choose the 2nd OT theme. I was familiar with that one when I was growing up.

Shredder's Suite from the first movie O.S.T and that music when turtles are at april's farm and they say "its time to go back"

definitely love the original cartoon theme- it's really hip. However, powders suggestion of "t-u-r-t-l-e power!" is a close second :)

The two OT themes.

The first one works as a nice introduction to the show for anyone who's never seen it. It tells you about the characters without coming off as corny.

The second one is pretty obvious... the over-the-top singing on "TURTLE POWER" makes me laugh every time.

What about "Pizza Power" as featured in the "Turtles in Time" arcade game?
