One fatality shown in Exodus
 

Have any of you guys noticed this in Exodus? There was one fatality shown below...pretty funny when you think about it.

This guy fell when Saki ordered the release to the emergency hatch for the Star ship. Actually there may have been two, the guy in the brown above fell two after viewing it a few times :)

Personally, I'm a little more curious with the president's cover up of the whole situation. How the heck did they cover up a rocket ship blasting off into outer space from the middle of New York? Also, did Bishop and the president know that the Shredder was an alien? I mean, if the president knew then you'd think that he would've been a little less harsh on him in the beginning of season four.

Yeah, I've always got a kick outta that poor bastard lol.

This episode was post invasion, so the president probably didn't need to cover much up.

But yah was I one of the only ones that noticed this when watching Exodus? This scene happened really fast.

I guess since the Triceratons had invaded twice in something like a week, Mr. President right out said it was an alien spacecraft.

I don't see why the president (or Bishop, for that matter) would be the one to make a cover-up--if anything, it'd have to be Karai who'd have to explain why the Foot's legit company launched a space-ship in the middle of a party.

Here's the way I think it went out, given what we see in Dragon's Brew. Bishop's infiltration of Saki's base was originally a black op--the president didn't know about if firsthand, and he only learned about it once it became spectacularly public. Forced to explain himself to a pissed-off president, Bishop's story is an abridged version of the truth (he excludes bits like the one about Saki being an Utrom) framing that night's events as the result of decisions he had the authority to make.

Before the government can make a carefully-redacted statement about the whole fiasco, however, Karai and her PR people beat them to the punch, publicly explaining that the ship was made perfectly legally, and that its premature launch was the tragic result of an unprovoked attack on their mansion by government agents. Aliens? What aliens? They offer to pay restoration for any injuries or fatalities, including Joe Unlucky from the original post. Oroku Saki's "death" can also be explained as part of this--sadly, the assault caused him to die from a heart attack.

So now the President is in a bind, since the world believes that his operative has just been involved in an unjustified operation involving a very big political player. Even if he wanted to protect Bishop (and he doesn't particularly want to) he has absolutely no evidence to counter the Foot's version of events. Bishop, if he wanted to, could provide the evidence, but he considers that the info on Saki and the Foot is far too valuable for the president to have. So he and the agency take the hit in political capital, as seen in "Dragon's Brew".

So you think that Bishop did know that Shredder was an alien. I'm still not certain whether or not he knew. When Shredder and Bishop had their conversation when Karai was captured, you'd think that he would've mentioned that over Saki being a crimelord.

Bishop could've found out during Exodus. It was revelead that he was an Utrom during the big fight in Part 1, and Bishop was there. Hun found out too.

Bishop did not know this, remember when they first met via "Skype", Bishop claimed he knew everything and stated facts. He did not state he knew he was an utrom if he did he would have said it.

They must have forgot to dub the line "Good thing Silver Sentry showed up to save everybody on the platform!"

No, my thinking is that he learned it along with everyone else on the Shredder's launch base. He was right there, and it's not like it was being kept a secret in the end. Afterwards, he neglected to share this new information with the president.

Wow. I didn't even think about that guy falling. I remember it happening, but I never really thought that he died.
