just found out that killer Volkswagen van , maybe the hardest fans already know it but since it's the first time I see it on the net I share it with you.

I would drive around all day in that thing.

It's a post 1973 type 2 VW. Has a flat 4 air cool engine. (might be 1800cc)

It isn't supposed to have a rag on top but if it's a sunroofer it would be a hard top sun roof. It might have been a nicely decked out with some amenities but can't really know without the VIN.

The paint job is well done for what the used, but I wouldn't want it on my VW bus. bleh...the interior needs to be done! My ol 1971 VW Kombi was a beater...this one's in better shape.

Not that it matters but who cares what model it is, it's spiffy! They didnt even USE a van for the TMNT bus, it was a Thomas EF with a chair lift EX- prisoner transport!

yeah never figured that but now you say it I remember seein those americans bus in such movies like "bound by honor" or/and others prison flick.

I wonder what happened to that TMNT 25Th Bus , does anybody knows ?

Last I checked it was sitting in the Mirage parking lot. That was before the buyout though, I don't know if the bus was wrapped into that or not.

Viacom owns it now. Where it's being kept I don't know, but I know that they told Pete in order to make the sale he had to include it as well.

That happens often with promotional vehicles. And it SUCKS.

I wouldn't mind owning that bus, it's cute! And besides I'm more than qualified to drive it.

The reason i say this because around here I've seen a few promo vehicles sitting, rotting and tagged to high hell. I HOPE that I am wrong cos the TMNT bus was done nicely.

The color blocking on this is great. Really gives it a surreal cartoon feel. Sad to think it's rotting in some warehouse.

It's not sitting in a warehouse, this is something someone customized and drives around in... You've got it mixed up with the 25th anniversary party bus, which is the one likely in a warehouse.
