Channel 6 building layout

Rewatching most of the OT over the past week or so, I've noticed some continuities among locations in the Channel 6 building. This thread may leave me to believe that like the turtles lair (which has a definitive layout according to some production material), may have a pretty good layout as well, with some variations.

First off is the number of floors/height. On a couple of Season 6 episodes, the elevator shows that the building is 10 stories tall acording to the dial (when was the last time you saw an analog elevator floor display?). In the back of the building is an alley where the Channel 6 vans are parked, and there is a 3-4 foot wall around the back stairs. Alas, this proves the error in Attack of the 50 Foot Irma, since a typical office building has around 12 feet between floors.

The lobby of Channel 6 has that globe with a water fountain, the three elevators toward the back of the lobby, and is two stories tall. I believe the security guard clearance is located here. The left staircase to the second floor I believe leads to the reception room after going through double doors and walking down a short hallway, where Irma's desk is located, with a big "6" and a smaller "TV" behind that desk. I believe the second floor is where most of the main offices are found, April's and Vernon's on the side and Burne's in the corner.
Around the 6th floor (in the episode where the force field goes halfway up the building surrounding the turtles before Mike uses a grappling hook) is where the studio for the cooking show is found.
The 10th floor contains the main news studio with the big world maps and the podiums containing the channel 6 logo; this is proved in Super Bebop and Mighty Rocksteady where the hole opens below the roof to reveal the news studio. This episode of course included the roof, with its transmission tower, and also includes a helipad for the news copter. The other floors not mentioned I assume include secondary members offices (like the Rutabagas man and the lady in the Easter episode), the studio that looks like an auditorium, and various production rooms. Finally, the basement is shown in Plan 6 From Outer Space.

Might be a fun screencap project. I especially like the huge globe in the lobby.

I think it's funny that Channel 6 is obviously a huge building. Yet, we only know of about 10 people who work there. heh

EDIT:
Speaking of the lair layout, I take it you've seen this thread:

hey let's get some pics goin on here like in the Lair layout thread

Well, whatever the layout may have been, it doesn't matter now. Cause Shredder blew it up, so IT GONE!

On an unrelated note, with the ten year anniverary of September 11th, 2001, I thought of something. I'm sure this has to have been brought up here before. But I'll bet that if "Get Shredder!" were to have been produced today, there definitely would've been no blowing up of the Channel 6 building.

To branch off of what ABrown said, I wonder if/when we see the OT on TV again if they'll refuse to air that episode...

What about the ep from Season 2 or 3 where Krang actually uses the Twin Towers to open a portal inbetween them?

I also remember an ep from Season 2 where human Baxter was on top of the Twin Towers for one episode.

Whoever would be airing the episodes probably wouldn't even be aware that the towers were featured. I'm betting that they would air normal without any edits.
